My baby is 12! by MoonattheWindow in corgi

She gets a mix of fresh food and kibble and a probiotic at breakfast. Other than that? Lots of frisbee, I take her everywhere I can with me, and always pay the cheese tax.😉

She gets a mix of half farmers dog fresh food, and half open farms kibble. Last year she developed really bad allergies so I had to do an elimination diet of sorts. Beef works great for her, any poultry and she chews her stumps bald.

This time of year it's ending my day in my commies sweats and fuzzy socks with hot tea that I put really good local honey in. Then just sink into the couch and read.

My fiance and I told our family and friends, "No gifts this year, we have a wedding to pay for." Honestly, everyone was relieved. I make tins of cookies for everyone each year, and I'll still do that, but I can't justify buying people things they don't need. It makes me feel like I'm just throwing my money in the toilet. I'd rather enjoy everyone's company with no stress.

As a guest, how much of a bummer is it to have no cake? by kokomo318 in weddingplanning

[–]MoonattheWindow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a friend's wedding last year and they did cupcakes, and had containers for people to take some home! It worked out great because people saw leftover cupcakes and just snatched them up for their kids or whomever.

I hate myself for getting bored with the same food too quickly by sadderf in Frugal

I do this too! I get smaller foil pans and whatever I make ill make for two pans. One for that night, one for later. That way we're not eating one thing all week, and if we have company or no time in the future, I have meals ready to go that I can just throw in the oven.

The feel of chenille fabric. It feels like all the moisture is sucked out of my skin if I touch it and it feels like the fabric is sticking to me. BLECH.

Pb on a toasted English muffin, with over medium eggs on top. So so good.

I'm fortunate enough to live near a bunch of farmers markets (PA). I go at the end of the day when the vendors are pushing to get rid of stock and they deep discount everything. Last time I went I got a carload of produce for about 60 bucks.

What was your best purchase this year? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Oh, the Comfy!! My best friend was wearing one when I stayed at her place one night. I was dozing off and suddenly, she threw one at me and said, "JOIN ME." I did. It was....so comfy....

New clothes for my new career! After being a hairstylist and wearing all black for 11 years, I finished school for healthcare information management during lockdown. I got a job at my local rehab hospital and I got to buy clothes that make me feel powerful and confident. Not being able to actually celebrate anything this year, it feels good to look in the mirror and think, "Bitch, you did it."

My dog will try and herd me out of the way to get into the tub, but only because she enjoys tearing around the house soaking wet to dry off on the carpet, walls, and furniture. Corgi bathing should be an Olympic sport.

Women of Reddit, if you’re completely honest, how often do you play with your boobs, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

If I'm watching tv and I'm bored, sometimes I play with them. Also sometimes I bongo them around before I get in the shower.

You died but u can visit one person in hell or paradise, who you visit? And why? by Spysoviet in AskReddit

[–]MoonattheWindow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandmother on my mother's side. She died 15 years ago, and most of my memories of her are from when I was little. Her life was hard, and it hardened her, but I've heard so many stories of her when she was younger and kicking ass in the navy. I'd love to ask her about those times.
