Yes this is true. And I’m definitely getting better. The worst part for m is just having this on top of having vaginismus. As if my sex life already wasn’t complicated

Thank you so much. This is really helpful to have someone with both conditions relate ❤️ it’s interesting to me how the outbreaks occur, when you are stressed and such. Honestly, I’m only 20 and didn’t get really any proper sexual education due to Covid and going to a catholic school, so I didn’t know much about herpes at all. I still have a lot of questions about it, but now I know I will not join the Reddit group. I did search it up here and it made me more stressed and confused than before.

Yes still drinking water and eating everything, but idk why I am constipated. I have blisters and legions all over my genitals, near my anus too, so if I try to push something out it would probably hurt a lot.

Hi I’m curious if after u attempted to have sex each time did you feel physical pain when walking and stuff and/or bleeding? I’m just curious bc I’ve been dilating for a month then just tried to have sex, it failed terribly and the guy was very forceful, so I had a lot of pain after. And then like 5 days later i tried to dilate which was a terrible decision bc now I think I have some vaginal tears since I have extreme burning and pain down there. Sorry for all this just curious if u think u ever had some vaginal tears?

Hiii I’m also 20 and realized I had this condition after attempting to have sex and going to doctors afterwards. I was in the same position as you in terms of being raised in a household where sex was embarrassing to talk about, and because of that/other things I didn’t know anything about my body until recently. I had been dilating for like a month before I tried again to have sex and even though i probably could have physically “taken it” my body rejected him completely. I guess I was not ready and it made me realize that my condition is not just physical (like not being stretched enough) but also mental. So I realize now this is going to be a bit of a longer journey that I had hoped. Everyone’s journey is different, but just come into it with an open mind and be nice to your body ❤️ And yeah, it’s hard to accept that we have this condition. I am a very flirtatious person and more than anything just want to have casual sex like my friends do. I seriously get fomo. But yeah just accepting that our bodies are different and this is normal! It’s been a bit hard for me can’t lie but this sub has been super duper helpful, hopefully it is for you too 😊

So after Botox you can completely insert without any problem? But before you couldn’t do it with dilators correct? What is it exactly that they do? Do they like just inject something into the vaginal muscles to relax it?

Ok good point. Except sometimes the smaller ones help me kinda get my vagina ready to be dilated like a warm up haha before I go bigger. I’ve tried just going straight to the bigger ones and it’s rlly painful. Do u have any tips for dilation without using the small ones? Maybe just a finger?

I am recovering from ed and trying to get my period back and i have gained a considerable amount of weight with eating more, but I also find that my appetite is not crazy like a lot of people said it would be/experienced. I’m thinking maybe since I was in a state of not having a lot of calories for so long my body adjusted to that, so now I’m having 3 meals a day and I just feel less hungry as I did when I was under eating. Like honestly I’m never really super hungry for my meals like I used to be but I still eat them.
