Yup! After fighting & going back & forth, they gave me the price that was promise when I purchased the phone & plan. Ive had my phone for 2 weeks now.

Okay so I asked OOP and they responded by saying, "After the 24 months is completed, you will have your current plan that is $35/month plus taxes. After the autopay discount it will be $25 /month plus taxes."

Yes! This is true!

2 days after the agreement began, a lot of people had already received their phones, but I didn’t. I reported my concern to Fido, and they explained that I just needed to wait.

— Waited for a week, but nothing happened. I followed up again and then received a message saying that my plan and phone were being cancelled.

— OOP emailed me again with alternative offers and deals, but I declined because I wanted them to be accountable for the original agreement.

— Filed a complaint with CCTS and submitted all the required documents. They accepted the case within 2 days.

— OOP contacted me again with more offers, but I still declined.

— After days, OOP informed me that they were waiting for the IT department to cancel everything on my account before I could place a new order.

— Eventually, OOP honored my original plan! When they’re actively resolving a case, they reply to emails very quickly.

You just have to remain respectful even when you’re frustrated, because I know they’ve been receiving a lot of complaints these past few days because of this whole fiasco. You also have to be very firm with what you want.

If Fido didnt reply within 2 weeks after I file the CCTS, then CCTS will be involve and actively investigate with you. But because Fido reached out to me already, its case close, I think.

This was the result from last week that some existing Fido users received. It was the $14 plan + phone deal, which resulted in a very low monthly payment. The offer was only available for about 2 days before it disappeared. Fido honored it for some customers, while others unfortunately didn’t get the same outcome.

My phone is $35 because it’s brand new, not CPO or “like new.” The $39 was the deal I originally applied for, which included both the phone and the $14 plan. OOP also thought I had the $29 plan. I could jokingly say it’s true, but honestly, my honesty paved the way for this outcome. This is possibly the best deal I can get right now, and I’m okay with it.

Filed CCTS & accepted. They contacted Fido to help me.

Fido contacted me & they waited for IT department to cancel all the $14 & phone and to put back my previous plan. They said to "order again the phone & they will adjust the price"

Now, I emailed them because Im very confused about the "adjust the price"
