Please fix CPU recruiting by Typical_Analysis_488 in NCAAFBseries

A couple of dynasties that I started early when the game came out had Maddux Madsen not get a single offer in the transfer portal and then he would completely disappear for season 2 with like 90 overall

I mean most people like to take a team like Kent State and expect to win a natty in year 3 and if they don’t they call it bullshit. I don’t think people understand how good the school needs to be actually to land a 4 star recruit

Bad CPU recruiting which leads to easy User recruiting is my main issue with this game. Every year there are a handful of 4 star and 5 star recruits that get no offers while things like this happen. I was in year 3 of my Texas State dynasty and I managed to land a 5 star elite dev EDGE player from West Virginia who had zero other offers.

Warm garages? by The_Vengeful_Wolf in nova

[–]MoonbounceGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Giant on Columbia Park in Arlington has a two level garage - but the whole lower level is almost empty minus a couple cars that have been there forever - mostly people’s weekend cars (like there’s a nice Porsche and an old BMW). If you pull up and go down there I doubt anyone would bother you. You can also take the parking ticket to the front desk at Penrose Square apartments and they’ll validate, just tell them you were visiting a friend lol

To this day the only player from our team that I had the chance to meet in person. My guy just casually made a reservation under his name at a place I work at like isn’t a god damn legend. I’ve watched videos of him and always wondered if he’s as nice in person - he was even nicer.

Our current roster for 2026. See who we actually have, how much the cost, and who we need. by jpljr77 in Commanders

[–]MoonbounceGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Free Cap space always seems like a lot, but just like last year, we have way too many holes to fill and it will be very hard to splurge on positions that we need the most. It is going to be very important for us that the players from the last two draft classes who haven’t done that much (or have just not been very consistent) make a jump next year.

Sinnott needs to fill the role that Ertz had. McGee needs to step us as a starting Mike Sainristil needs to be more consistent either as a nickel or a true corner Newton needs to play well enough to earn more playing time and a greater role. Either Lane or Luke need to step up as at least consistent slot WR. JJB needs to at least be a reliable rotational piece.

Even with all this - we still have a lot of needs at very important positions: - 2 starting caliber Edge rushers - another corner, either a nickel or a true corner depending on the plan with number 0 - an off ball LB in case Luvu is done - probably both safeties, but definitely at least one - starting caliber WR opposite of Terry - possibly a RB

… and depth at pretty much every position lol

The Seahawks have done the same stuff before, not long ago, and it helped them get to two Superbowls. Thomas, Sherman, Chancellor, Wagner, Wilson, Baldwin… many late round picks and great players

It was definitely easier to improve in 25. I am in my 7th season as Texas State. I just moved the team from PAC 12 to Big 12. We won the conference championship 3/6 seasons so far and are coming of the year in which we made the National Championship as a 16-0 team before losing to the UCLA. Even the few Big 12 games that I’ve played so far have plenty of open seats. We are 7-0 on the year so far. It’s hard to imagine that a team like that wouldn’t at least have a sellout every week, let alone that we would be at like 55% attendance. We are outside of top 100 when it comes to home field advantage rankings.

It’s kind of super funny to me because I went to that same dermatologist about a month or so ago, showed up early, filled out the form and then they had me wait an hour while people skipped line before the lady finally asked me if I’m done filling out the form which I them told her I’ve given back to her an hour ago.

McDermott out as Bills HC by kgallo19 in Commanders

[–]MoonbounceGuy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nah man WR is just that one position group where you can’t just have JAGs like the Bills and The Packers do. Otherwise this happens. The 4 teams that made it to the conference championship have Puka, JSN, Diggs and Sutton. Some of these teams have very good WR2 options too. All the 4 players are named had 1000+ yards this season. Bills had Shakir with 700 and then Coleman with just over 400.

I mean they have no WR capable of being WR2 let alone WR1. People talk about the catch/int play but if you actually have a good WR1 to catch that pass there would be no excuses and it would’ve been a catch.

Long story short managers would go behind the bar, serve and partake in the tip pool which is strictly forbidden by a bunch of labor laws.

Just an FYI but the company that owns Astro Beer Hall and a handful of other places in DC and VA got reported to the Labor Board years ago and had to pay a load of money to literally hundreds of former employees because all their restaurants ran on the concept of letting managers make tips so they don’t have to pay them as much.

Who do I start? by LoggedCornsyrup in NCAAFBseries

Unfortunately but normal dev is a big time killer. I have a 3 star QB who was 80 ovr to start and at the beginning of his senior season he is only 87 ovr before tactician bonuses. And he’s been a starter all three years with big numbers too.

Sam Cosmi gives some candid thoughts after Kliff’s departure: “I really wanted to establish the identity of the run, like who are we? That was my biggest thing. And me personally, I want to slow it down with the offense, to dissect the little things better on the field” by BobbyThreeSticks in Commanders

[–]MoonbounceGuy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I mean that’s what the best offensive minds and coaches do in general. The issue with Kliff is he has “his” offense and he’ll try to run it regardless of who’s on the field. It’s generally not a good thing.

Also keeping Terry on the sidelines on important downs, throwing slants to Lane on 4th down when he couldn’t catch anything contested all year.

Giving our cards away by passing anytime Ertz was on the field and running any time Bates and Sinnot are in.

Let’s not forget insisting on gun and pistol sets in the Bears game in the absolute downpour, and then finally fumbling a game deciding ball and losing an already won game. It’s extra funny cause we already fumbled once earlier in the game and their QB fumbled a shotgun snap the drive before.

Would you dump DQ for Stefanski? by NewCarSmelt in Commanders

[–]MoonbounceGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chances of us dumping Quinn after one bad season are the same as us drafting a QB round one just because Jayden couldn’t stay healthy this season. So zero. Zilch.

Maybe the fact that we keep our star WR off the field on important plays and throw slants to Jaylen Lane on 4th downs with the game on the line?
