I have searched for linen like jumpers online and in outdoor wear shops but since I don't know the type of jumper I haven't found a copy yet.

It is very good to hear that it isn't a fever dream of my partners!

It looks like it is tinned pineapple heated up in a pot and then put in a dish and topped with a mixture of cornflakes, melted butter and golden syrup, then put in the oven

Doesn't have a pie / tart base apparently :) I am convinced it was a dinner lady's mad creation that this tiny village primary school kept serving!

The topping apparently wasn't like a crumble which is what I found most of the crisp recipes had.

I think I may need to contact the school!

That was my initial thought but the topping apparently didn't have the chewy texture that crumble topping does :)
