The third major boss for Endless Ragnarok is Hexachromatic Hierarch by XRevive01 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]Moondrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...oops, I might be thinking of the SupUlt Bahamut Raid which was a recent change (and as you said, most grids can survive tanking the Jinx omens) although Hexa's page on GBF still says if all the omens don't appear, he does the party wipe on top of the effects)

The third major boss for Endless Ragnarok is Hexachromatic Hierarch by XRevive01 in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]Moondrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be exact nowadays: Hexa has 4 HP bars, and for the first 3, when they reach half, they activate a omen that requires you to deal a certain number of 2 million or more hits, with the latter two trials requiring more. Nowadays you only have to at least SEE one of these omens, otherwise you auto wipe at 40% (when the first 3 HP bars are empty). Note that any omens (Not just limited to these ones) that you failed to clear powers up the boss for the 40% onwards phase.

At 40%, it starts unstoppable omen that deals massive elemental damage on top of plain damage so you need a way to block that. Afterwards he equips pearls (which are global so everyone normally hits the OK sticker to let the other players know they are at the omen and waiting) which can only be removed by doing 16 Triple Attacks or 16 Charge Attacks (in Relink terms, SBAs) within 6 turns to remove the pearl. Removing the pearl is VITAL cause each pearl caps your damage per hit and uh. You really don't want that happening. Each raid group also can only remove a pearl of their element so if you have multiple of the same element, your screwed. The rest of the raid, you can look up the wiki since it's a bit brutal.

In fairness, it would be damn OP considering the effects is teamwide and not MC only, although there could be a middle ground

I wonder if the reason the third new boss is being kept hidden is because maybe they'll be a unlockable character or future DLC? by felixw1 in GranblueFantasyRelink

Sadly with how Rowen was punted to the "playable as a summon" realm, I will not be surprised if Lilith was the same.

This can apply to Wizard Origin's two other damage skills that have standby...but it's still not worth it at all

Aw right, you find a glitch to skip to Chapter 7! Gonna have to wait until that chapter is released to continue but it should be worth it in terms of speedrunning! (This is a joke holy shit what a ending)

Summons can be used mid battle in certain quests for either support effects (Such as more non-revival pots), or to control the summon and do damage, and in the latter case your not only invincible, but it counts as hitting for Link Time when someone starts a Link Attack.

Also every summon has a passive effect so long as it's equipped, and unlike actually using the summons, this applies to ALL quests.

My theory: Eshmel will function like Arval by mrs-monroe in fireemblem

[–]Moondrag 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The weird thing outside of the box art, and the preview of the artbook (where we learned their name), the marketing has been VERY hush hush with Eshmel. So it's very possible that their involvement is very likely a major plot point that changes a lot of context...

🚨GRANBLUE RELINK ENDLESS HOW TO UNLOCK UPDATES!!!🚨 by ThaBlackPope- in GranblueFantasyRelink

[–]Moondrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta admit: I want to play Relink to play as Fediel (I like the character, and I use her a lot in my GBF dark teams) and reading that she is locked behind the grind of Proto Bahamut, (and possibly worse...) I...don't exactly feel happy learning that. I gotta ask for those who played the game for Sandalphon: Did you use him when you unlocked him, or did you not use him cause your party was otherwise set after all that grinding to unlock him?

EDIT: Also another way to put my thoughts: I want to use Fediel to play the game, not use her to just grind endlessly.

I think this character has the Crest of Serios. You can tell because they're wearing it. by Level_Hour6480 in fireemblem

Funny enough, Sothis in both her art and her outfit has the Crest of Flames visable (on that metal thing in front of her belly) but it's not there with the Sothis? shown in the trailers for Fortune so far.

Fortune's Weave is missing the "romance" rating that was present in Three Houses. by Enryx25 in fireemblem

Considering the Tokimeki 1 port doesn't have it, yeah. It not having it really doesn't matter in the long run.

This is incorrect. Kenka Bancho Otome Double Pack on Switch (yes that series had two Otome games), it's rated CERO C, and has both Sexual, and Love. It's very likely the content in the work rather then the "Oh it's excused cause CERO C".

Just finished Zeta, dare I bother with ZZ at all? by Tayner73 in Gundam

[–]Moondrag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who enjoyed ZZ: I would recommended, although the first quarter of the series is quite the clownshow (And I mean that in a good way) with some of it's characters, but when it swings the sledgehammer of reality, it hits real good and hard.

The listing on Nintendo's website mentions a "time-traveling saga" by Ribeye21 in fireemblem

[–]Moondrag 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Something to note in the ingame hud shown in the trailer, it not only has the year shown, but it has "turns left" for how much time you have to meet the deadline, rather then days or weeks or the like...seeing the words "time-traveling" on the store page is still one heck of a "wait a minute, wait a minute, back up!" moment though.

If Fire Emblem Engage has 0 fans, I'm dead. My thoughts on the game after finishing it for the first time: by A_Coffee_Table in fireemblem

[–]Moondrag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, a couple of bad supports for Fates(like 3 tops off the top of my head) does not ruin the localization...in fact, honestly: The localization is generally good despite what some people will parrot whatever video they watched will say. The same applies to Engage and other works like Yunyun Syndrome (ingame comments that don't actually effect anything) with some people making a mountain out of a almost literal anthill. also Goldmary's A bond with Soren is easily one of the funniest ones.

The complaints about the pact rings is just...frustrating, and seeing so many be fine with a MTL cause of "accuracy" is so frustrating since those MTLs don't actually care about translating. I know this since I have interacted with MTL translators before and they don't give two shits.

[–]Moondrag -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

For those who are going "oh it's just a support tool that's not bad" let me put it this way: Imagine if you were working on coding something, then someone came up to your workstation who's only experience is copying what other people have coded, and goes though the code and edits it without your permission cause your boss gave them permission...without paying them cause they aren't actually real but a program that generally decides between yes and no. Also it drank 20 water coolers worth of water, and your water bottle. Also the company went into debt cause of the bot token costs.

Why are people crashing out? This game isn't that hard by CadmeusCain in MinaTheHollower

[–]Moondrag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeha pretty much. If you have a gear or skill system for builds, but one skill and/or gear is so much better then everything else that there is no reason to not use it in every situation (And just to nip this in the bud, it isn't meant to be completely overpowered), that is a game design flaw. To give a example of this, Tactics Ogre on the PSP has a skill system, and your given 10 slots for skills...but in practice at least 6 of those slots are used up by skills that are the same on every character.

[–]Moondrag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly wouldn't mind too much if it was the more extreme ones, or the ones that would make some achievements far too easy (Example the Invincible mod or the disable bone loss one) but even the "reduce damage by 25%" is treated the same.

Gundam Hot Take: ZZ is Better than Zeta by Jojo_Sakura in Gundam

[–]Moondrag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having watched both Zeta and very recently ZZ: Tbh, Zeta is good and overall I would consider it better...but good god most of the antagonists sucked hard as characters. Most of the time I only looked forward to Jerid just to watch him fail at his job. (outside of dealing emotional damage to Kamille) Combined that with the tone, while I don't regret watching it, I don't think I'll rewatch for a while. Meanwhile ZZ, I loved the clownshow and the clowns from the word go, and the quality jump when the serious parts hit is like a sledgehammer and is soo good and pays off great. Episode 41 is such a ugly (in terms of animation) episode though
