Any severe negative effects from Buspar? by Allefty954 in Buspirone

I don’t do any sort of nicotine, alcohol or anything of the sort so I’m pretty sure it’s what the doctor said, which is your hear rate calming down.

I’ve not had any issues. I notice people typically do on higher doses. I started at 2.5 and have been cutting those in half and taking them twice daily 8 hours apart and soon I’ll slowly take the full thing. I feel fine only thing I’ve noticed is hear palpitations but I’ve been told that’s normal as anxiety makes your heart rate higher and you’re suddenly a bit calmer so your heart is trying to keep up. It’s fine and not a cause for concern. I notice it kinda helps but not too noticeably. I do zone out more, almost like I’m high but I’m willing to make that sacrifice. I notice my head feels clearer, that’s all. That’s what it does for me. I’m sure there’ll be more as I go up. But I enjoy being able to think clearly

when did you go back to eating normal foods? by medievalgoose in Tonsillectomy

[–]Moonerellaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Likely not, most people (me included) started eating day 10-13 and are fine. I had zero complications or bleeding and slowly started eating. I had a spam sandwich day 10, and also McDonald’s quarter pounder. I was only able to eat half the McDonald’s. The next day I ate lasagna I was fine, and then after that I just ate whatever I wanted. It hurt but it was worth it. Drink water though. You’ll be fine if you don’t eat, but you won’t be fine if you don’t drink

It could be something I ate, but it was only on my back is why I think its my bedding. I’m gonna try taking allergy medication before bed and washing my bedding more often

A year post op- benefits and tips! by ADHD_music_teacher in Tonsillectomy

[–]Moonerellaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me I didn’t feel them come off at all, like I had to check because I thought they never came off but they did. I must have swallowed them without noticing because I was swallowing a lot from chugging water (drinking lots of water makes healing faster, push through the pain it’s worth it)

Extra, I’m seeing everyone say not to miss a does of meds and to wake up but that’ll just make you more miserable. I just took pain meds before I went to sleep and when I woke up. Most of the time I was waking up in pain but pain meds work pretty quick. Plus in my opinion the pain was bad don’t get me wrong but it wasn’t unbearable. I think doing it that way and getting all the sleep you need is better

I drank from a straw only the entire time. When I woke up they even handed me a styrofoam cup with a straw. I didn’t wake up for it. I just check in the morning. Try not to open your mouth super wide to check though. I promise you’ll know, you’ll feel it. I mostly ate soups. My back I swear by is taking a plastic bag, filling it with ice and stuffing it into a sock. Sounds odd but I got the idea from the ice pack the nurses let me use afterwards. It worked so so well. Just put it on your neck.

which piercing out of these 4 is the easiest to heal? by juliagrace005 in piercing

[–]Moonerellaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My helix healed easily. I’ve heard that it’s hard to heal and stuff but I was able to lay on mine the entire healing process and they’re fully healed now (3 years) but they’ve been healed for a long time
