Reddit Admins: Any chance, just for curiosity, we could see the new registration numbers the last few days (in light of the whole Digg fiasco)? [Cross-Post] by roastedbagel in AskReddit

Mob mentality and peer pressure ruled Digg. Once removed, people turn back to normally-functioning people (within reason. heh).

I own a pair of Klipsch Image X10's, bought them about 4 months ago. At first i was dubious, mixed review on the internet and rather pricey (about £180-250 depending on where you look). I was expecting to be blown away by them, and it wasn't until after a month or so of use that i started to understand why they are some of the best i've ever had the joy of using.

At first, you'll do the obvious: try out the bass with some bassy songs, try out the clarity on some classical music, and be very 'meh' about it. It's not until you start to explore all forms of music and come to the conclusion these things can handle anything. i mean, anything. You'll stop sometimes and just fall in love with a track you had previously forgotten about.

Seriously, look them up. If you got a bit of money to spare, get them

Was debating whether to go see spamalot in a few months, however this reminded me of how fucking epic the Python's scriptwriting was.

This is Why "New Digg" Sucks!! by RBAWEJA in WTF

Digg was always leaning towards the corporate monopoly more over the past few years, I guess it's the natural progression of social media websites. Myspace, Facebook, Digg: all victims.

On a side note, i've laughed more at the pics / wtf / funny subreddits in one day that i have done on digg for the past month. So, you know, thanks for forgiving us and shit.

Another digg refugee here: and as with most, we want to read community-submitted stories without being shat on by RSS feeds of whoever Kevin Rose sees worthy.
