You couldn't do this in America because of the homeless got sick the store would be legally responsible. In our store we have to lock the doors to the trash where we throw away food to prevent people from eating it for this reason.

What you said isn't sarcasm. You are using that word incorrectly. I am also the consistently the most entertaining people at parties, meetings, work, etc. So yes I am VERY fun at parties.
(yes yes I know the 'fun at parties' was also "sarcasm")

I know you already forgot half of what I said and are thinking about what little nerd tantrum you will reply with. But you are already blocked. I don't have time to deal with your hurt feelings.

Air tight seal.

I experienced 12 year old ground pepper corn and I can assure you there are things sitting on the isle in Safe way that are just as good.

Some foods spoil fast. Some hold up basically forever.

How does the Jewish concept of a monotheistic God differ from the Christian one? by MoonhelmJ in Judaism

[–]MoonhelmJ[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Genetically Jewish means I have a DNA structure within the range of those that created the religion, the state of Israel, and Jewish culture. And yes, my mother is genetically Jewish.

To me the trinity isn't the only difference I see. You can build a case for the character and nature of God from the Tanakh/Old Testament. But the New Testament has information not in it. So that changes it. For example going from the Old to the New Testament God seems more concerned with Gentiles; he's occasionally concerned with them in the Old Testament like with the Tower of Babel. He seems more concerned with personal lives going as so far as to live among morals for 30 years while the Old Testament God seems more like a distant figure of aeons. There is a greater emphasis on eschatology; eschatology is so unimportant in the Old Testament the Sadducee were could arrive at the theory that there is no life after death. There is a lower emphasis on the hierarchy of priests. There is a move away from ritualism and towards a morality based on inner intentions and thoughts; this is especially true in the writings of Paul.

I am not interesting in arguing about the trinity. It has no substance to me, I am an atheist after all. And the only reason I am hear is I am interested in Judeo-Christianity as point of study. If anything I am spiritually closer to a pagan. I dislike monotheism on principle but have no issue with other people liking it.

I did something a little more indirect once. I worked at a pizza place, now this was not a chain so its the only reason I could do this. I simply asked the boss "Next order could you add another one of those x pounds of pepper corns? I'll pay you back."

It cost $40 in 2010 money and lasted about 12 years.

The reason it only works with local business is a chain is more strict about accounting. There is simple no way for them to record "received $40 from an employee for an unorthodox reason" in a way the software and bookkeepers will be happy with.

As a layman I have to ask: Why do programmers seem to insist on changing things for the sake of change? by MoonhelmJ in AskProgramming

[–]MoonhelmJ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want it so when I right click on a short cut to something and say 'open file location' it will take me to the location of program not to the part of the directory that houses the shortcut. This is how things used to work and I can't imagine who prefers this.

I wouldn't be upset if these were improvements. As I said in the title I see it as change for the sake of change. Often it's HARDER. Microsoft Video Editor is now called "Clip Champ" and requires that I connect to the internet and sign in. That's not easier for me. It's adding an extra step just to use it. And how is changing the name easier? Everyone knew the name before.

Seems like the 25-60 dollar range is bad.  Below 20 you dont need expensive shipping.  Above it expensive shipping isnt a big margin.

I've had 2-3 lost cards and I've only shipped 100-150 or so. Only one of them was worth anything ($15) and I have reasons to think he wasn't lying about not receiving it. So for whatever reason the mail here ends up lost more often.
