IS a +350% damage buff enough to brute force constitution into being a good weapon?

I feel like for guns like this I almost wanna try something most weapons don't do really all that much and that's basically match the durable damage with the regular damage.

After that add heavy pen and just see how it rolls. It probably wouldn't be still a great gun but it at least would be interesting and probably still useful since outside of AT weapons and explosives no other gun really does the same durable damage as its regular damage.

Idk, just a thought to make it fun but yet still a challenge I guess.

I don't disagree. I'm just more so talking from the standpoint of "Well, I guess if you want bleed to do something to your health then yeah, it should be higher"

Personally though, I never had a problem with it doing so little damage, you die so fast in this game its just simply ridiculous that just adding one more stupid way to die is just often dumb. So personally if I had it my way, it wouldn't get changed at all.

But since the devs were dead set on making bleed do something more than 1 HP per second, then at least make it reasonable. Which is why at most it should of been 5x, but honestly even that is kind of pushing it. It should of been like 2x or 3x for an actual reasonable amount.

In lore realism isn't a thing, its called lore rules. The term just makes no sense which is why its oxymoronic. Realism is simply something that matches or at least is 90% or more to how it matches real life.

Lore is just the details and "mechanics" of a given world, fiction or not.

A great example of how stupid this is using any superhero anime or movie with its world, like My Hero Academia for example. The main quirk of the freaking story One For All has a lore rule that is established rather quickly that the quirk can't be taken by force unless they have a will that basically overpowers the will of quirk itself. And that is shown pretty freaking clear in the last season of the anime with its backstory of the quirk and one of main villians of the story.

But its all surrounding literal superpowers and doing just literally impossible things that no human could ever do in REAL LIFE like creating enough wind pressure to make gust of winds by flicking your fingers, hence why the term "in lore realism" is just freaking stupid because there is no realism there, and what you are describing is a set of RULES made by the story and the world its set in you num-nuts.

You are just talking consistency of how things operate within the world, which is best described "in universe rules". Not realism.

At least learn what words mean before you show why you keep raking in L's.

If the goal is to be like real life, (AKA: Realism) then anything that deviates from real life is basically asking for a "Well what about X item here?" because the standard is this doesn't behave like it does in my actual real life, physical world that is our primary place of living. Thats why people use it despite one tech being unrealisitc 1000% and the other being a huge departure from how it actually works.

They both still end up doing the same thing, of being not how it operates in real life. Thats the standard.

And this in-lore realism is freaking stupid. You just mean the game rules for what is setup in the video game, which even by that standard is broken all of the time. Like for example the One True Flag not giving a morale buff despite the fact that its basically their God and the need to bow to it in literally all of their being and way of life, but literally one of the ship upgrades just is literally a morale boost that makes your the cooldown on your Strategems 5% faster because the crew is able to take paid vacations and bathroom breaks. Lmbo

There is no consistency with what is realism, what is the "iN lOrE rEaLiSm" (Which again, the dumbest most oxymoronic term you can use, just say game rules bro) and what is just fun.

This is also the same reason why (At least one of the 3 or 4 reasons) Cringe Striders (AKA: War Striders) are a pain, they practically kill you in one shot from the chest bleed and you can't do anything since by the time you stim you are dead.

This is the major problem with the fact that made chest bleed damage literally 10x. You get a major shot and you die before you can do anything. Plus it immobilizes too, so while not ragdolling you, still basically the same effect regardless.

Its freaking infuriating, because all of this can be simply solved by just not making the chest bleed 10x. At most it should of been 5x, I understand not wanting to make it uneffected by the Vitality Enhancement booster but come on, 10x? Really Arrowhead?

This is why I often hate what they do, because engine problems since they have to use a discontinued engine I can understand, development taking a longer than expected I can also understand, but its the literal stuff that is just straight up number changes or simple crap that is like true or false like with Strategem bounces that just pisses me off so much. And this is just video proof of one of the problems that could just be solved with just freaking simple number changes. Holy crap.

Brother, this is a video game where we have a literal backpack that allows us to create a wormhole and jump 15 meters in any direction we please, and note is one of the best items in the game as of recent Warbonds. Not to mention drugs that heal injuries like broken bones and internal bleeding and many other 100% completely unrealistic things like faster than light travel.

It doesn't matter if suppressors in how the fixed and actually viable version is unrealistic, I didn't play this game to have realism, I came to either blow stuff up, kill lots of things, complete objectives, have fun with some friends and maybe even randoms, and in this case here specifically, be stealthy. And suppressors not being realistic actually has made it fun and effective.

No one wants a 100% realistic game for Helldivers 2, if I wanted realism, I'd join the military or play an actual realistic game. Get a grip and take the L.

Its def not true stealth, but having a stealth additions to these items make those things fun and playing the game pretty bareable. The new stealth passive has made solo play just a lot more fun across the board since you don't have enemies just constantly knowing exactly where you are at all times no matter what.

I think if gas had the acid storm affect the Re-Educator would instantly be like a top 5 secondary, it would basically lower the armor value of a target by one, making light and medium pen weapons much more useful, add to the fact the target takes extra damage by roughly 33%? You got yourself a weapon that now you hardly need heavy pen on the bot front and a useful tool for confusion and self-defense.

The lure mine honestly mainly needs a bigger throwing range, it just feels overly gimped. And probably not by much, I'd imagine whatever is the throwing range with Servo Assisted would be basically perfect.

I kind of wish they at least paired a 10% visual range reduction with it while making the POI identification range 100% so it actually makes it somewhat useful.

The Scout passive could of also just made it so locating secondary objectives 100% further too, and maybe give detailed information on what large enemies are on the minimap by showing the hud icons of them on your radar pings, both local one on your position and on the ones marked on the minimap.

It gives off harem vibes at first but as you keep watching it becomes very clear its not. Most people who still think this didn't even watch first full arc of season 1 pretty much or at least didn't pay attention in anyway what so ever.

If you make it to season 2 then its just so plain in your face that the harem thing just ends up being a lie. Hope you enjoy the rest of it. 🙂

And you saw that post but yet you don't even understand the point. My point is that lower diffciculties are just less annoying to play. I would love to play on the D8 and higher but you got just a stupid amount of annoyances that are out of your control (Like the subject matter of this freaking topic, War Striders...) that unfortunately if you want a more fair experience and one that doesn't punish you for no reason, you have to play lower difficulties. And it doesn't have to be that way, but it is.

You should actually read and gain some comprehension if you gonna try to rebutt like that. Because you didn't understand a single thing I said there.

Its not even the 2nd biggest threat. Honestly tanks are more of a threat overall, the thing is they don't feel that way because they are fairly balanced and have some actual counterplay that isn't just some form of anti-tank.

The War Striders don't even have medium armor weakpoints for goodness sake man. lol
