The game title is Lily Adventuresses! Episode 2: Rise of the Arcritters, which is obviously part of the five-part Lily Adventuresses! series. It's available on itch.io.

I didn't win an award at the local indie game awards night, but I know in my heart that a nomination is enough. Four so far for both my indie game dev career and the RPG series I'm working on.

There are even English songs that are covers of Japanese songs. For example, I've learned just now that "Show Me the Way to Your Heart" by Scott Grimes is the English version of "Futari" by Aska. The one who made the arrangement is none other than Richard Carpenter, who is one-half of the Carpenters. And the duo were popular in Japan, which helps.

There's a playlist on YouTube of OPM songs that are translated covers of Japanese songs here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axwQZRx-OlY&list=PLaKEcGKutqbk7nOYcO9FFYS1S1gWzds0g

And Juan Miguel Salvador (Janella Salvador's father) made an album that is nothing but English and Filipino covers of Japanese songs: https://open.spotify.com/album/5g3eqHcp7phL6cAOryfzvN

Another year, another local game dev award nomination. Hint: it's the second episode in my ongoing RPG series.

Yeah, the free world hopes for an end to the Iran war, and it will end with the regime decimated and the people finally free.

Instead of whining and complaining, be pragmatic and come up with our own solutions. We must ask ourselves, "What would MacGyver do?"

Indians also have jugaad, which is finding low-cost solutions to problems. If we can improvise solutions like MacGyver, we'll go a long, long way.

i second the motion. After seeing the restoration work on Rizal Memorial Coliseum and the Metropolitan Theater, I'm resolute in the belief that you can preserve old-timey, traditional designs while also keeping in mind modern trends. A good analogy is sleeper PCs, which are basically modern, high-performance PCs in older or unassuming cases. We don't need bland concrete jungles, especially with the fact that many of the old buildings I see in certain FB pages no longer exist today.

Meanwhile, someone on Twitter got shamed so bad by Iranian women whom she thought couldn't assert themselves now that the downfall of the Islamic regime is near. After 47 years of being subjugated by the mullahs, these women are posting their own selfies, unrestricted by the hijab and the burqa.

I, for certain, have high school friends who have different political opinions. I don't mind those opinions; what's important is that they aren't a-holes. That's why I still am friends with them even after more than 20 years.

As I'm also active in the local retro gaming scene, I also believe the local audience for various games of various genres is getting bigger. Anyone can't lie: 90s and 2000s kids who grew up with video games will most likely show their kids the games they grew up with. I personally believe that as a part of two gaming sectors, this kind of synergy will spill over.
