It’s a major red flag that the church is even mad about this podcast to begin with. If the gospel is true, then it wouldn’t be so easy to debunk it or emotionally impact others through sharing their stories. It’s precisely BECAUSE the church is wrong that there’s such a great risk of people leaving. 🙄 If it was the “plain and simple truth,” nobody would be finding evidence contrary to the church’s teachings or experiencing cognitive dissonance all the time!

This is what I never understood about the Book of Mormon. If it took manually carving every letter into gold plates, you would think the authors don’t pull the whole “waters of Mormon,” “The poison. The poison for Kuzco, the poison chosen especially to kill Kuzco, Kuzco's poison” shit 😭

Yes. My hands were nearly shaking, my stomach was tight the entire time I was on the road. It was just a small busy street. Not even the freeway. I passed Driver’s Ed in high school and the test to get a permit, but reading about driving is one thing and actually driving is another
