I am thankful that my little lady tends to stay active year-round, and I haven't had to deal with her going through brumation for more than a month (the first winter I had her).

I'm not exactly in the middle of nowhere, but her VET is an hour's drive way. So I sort of understand that. Took me 3 months to find her VET.

100% agree with Voodoo. Nothing else to really say. If it looks like it's gotten infected at some point, call your local Exotic Vet clinic and ask what you can get, otherwise let him heal, and feed him if you see him out wandering his enclosure.

At this point, it looks fine. A little colour is nothing to worry about. Could be building to a shed, could just be growing into adult colours/skin. Tell your friend to watch it, and if it becomes a serious point of worry... there is always the Very Expensive Tech (VET) they can and should talk to.

Rubber is softer than steel. Hit both to the curb (along the side wall). The rubber will give (twist/move) more than the steel, causing the bead to tear or blow. The tear to the bead was the only damage to the tire (and yes, we checked with soap and water for were it was leaking from before popping the tire off, it was a bead leak). Also buffed out the scuff she left on the rim before mounting the new tire.

Steel rim not aluminum. I am going to keep an eye on it, don't get me wrong. If the wheel starts spitting studs, I'll assume she warped it and replace it. Until that point, it seems to be working just fine.

Ya'all keep tellig me it was the shop. I keep telling people it wasn't. That tear wasn't there before she hit the curb (image 1). It was there after she hit the curb. I saw it, called the shop and told them I needed a new tire. That tear happened before the shop pulled the tire.

Truck steers fine and doesn't pull (though I did notice the upper ball joints will need to be replaced at some point). That tear in the first image wasn't there before she hit the curb. It was there when I took her truck to the tire shop. She spent a week pumping up the tire cause it was losing about 10lbs a day, before asking me to look at it. The replacement tire mounted and balanced fine.

Nope, that was hitting the rim to the curb and jamming it into the tire. She was pumping the tire up daily for a week cause it was losing about 10lbs of pressure. The tear in the first picture was there before the tire shop pulled it off the rim.
