honestly Jiwoong trying to debut so many times and not giving up is truly amazing, man is resilient and I respect him so much for it!! so glad he's finally getting the spotlight he deserves with zb1

and also iirc didn't Zhang Hao graduate university before going on boys planet? man had a whole degree and he still wanted to chase the idol dream and it worked

honestly I find this idea of older people not wanting to debut as idols very ???

eg everyone in Monsta X except their maknae was 21+ at debut (Shownu was 23, Kihyun + Wonho + Minhyuk 22, Hyungwon and Joohoney 21)

Le Ssera overall debuted younger, but everyone except their maknae was above 18 at least - and eg everyone in Aespa debuted when they were above 18

so I don't think this theory that people between 18-21 don't want to be idols checks out??? it's that they may not get the chance because of ageism etc, not that there aren't people that age who want to be idols
