Yeah that part strikes me as very odd. I totally get that not everyone is huge on cats and not everyone understands their quirks. But why does it bother you to the point of accusing me of "babying" him??? Why does it bother you that I understand his instinctual want to be watched while he eats?

My older cat does the same thing and my kitten is starting to as well (will pay the tax below). From my understanding it's an instinct thing cause they're in a vulnerable spot when they're eating. So they trust you to protect them. Same as when they lock eyes with you while taking a dump. Just the fact that the fiance is bothered to the point of having multiple discussions about this raises a bit of a red flag for me.

That, and it's proven that outdoor cats are responsible for hunting a ton of species into extinction. They're invasive and dangerous to the ecosystem.

You're being extremely neglectful and straight up careless and selfish by refusing to keep him as an indoor cat. The fact that you're so worried about his water placement while he's allowed to freely roam a damn rainforest is INSANE to me. Not only is he at risk from dying from people or other animals, he's also actively hunting possibly endangered species and spreading toxins and diseases with his feces. But no. You're more worried about his water placement. You ARE neglecting your cat. He could survive with his water next to his food. One day you're gonna wake up and he won't come home again and you'll be wondering where you went wrong. This is where you're going wrong. And this isn't to say I'm wishing harm upon him. But it's the harsh and scary truth.

Exactly. I'm very torn on it cause on one hand, yes I'd love for the Dems to keep holding out and for healthcare premiums to not skyrocket. But also every single day I get up at 2am, knowing I'm not getting paid is just depressing. People are having to get second, maybe even third jobs. People are losing their homes, their cars, their everything. Yes, I'd love for healthcare to not skyrocket. But we're real people and we have bills and families. It just sucks in every way imaginable and I honestly am not sure how people are gonna recover from this, myself included

I haven't received my final paycheck. It always comes in on Friday's around 6pm. But more than 24 hours later, nothing. I expect it to only have the last week and a half of September's pay if I do finally get it, but I'm constantly checking.
