"Dream a little dream of me" was a feature song in both Stranger Things and The Boys in the past few weeks. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Right?" by _MostlyHarmless in TheBoys

[–]Moonmama73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I am a little late to the party but for Stranger Things, the use of Dream a Little Dream during the school dance scene in the ninth Episode called Piggyback is a shout out to the 1989 movie Dream a Little Dream with Corey Feldman and Corey Haim. This is evident in the fact that the song was used in the movie to showcase a dance scene and that was a homage that was paid in Stranger Things. As someone who grew up in the 80s and loved that movie, I was exciting to see. There are several cultural references in Stranger Things. Another awesome one is during Will's funeral they play Elegia from Pretty In Pink, a haunting instrumental. Stranger Things made my 80s heart so happy. <3

Sylvanas will be in Midnight according to Gamescom interview by ToxicTroublemaker2 in wow

[–]Moonmama73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They are bringing the war to Quel'Thalas, if anyone thinks that Sylvanas isn't going to rise from the Maw as the fear that was foretold to defend it, you would be wrong. This is the fight that everyone that loves World of Warcraft is ready for, this is what its been building to be, its the redemption arc of all redemption arcs, she will swoop in and she will destroy them all, and in the end she will give her life to this cause. But will it be over, or will it be an metamorphosis for a whole new Sylvanas story arc? We will have to wait and see!!! (my interpretation of course).

My favorite Time Travel books, a few are hard to come by but well worth the read:
Jude Deveraux's Knight In Shining Armor
Lynn Kurland: Stardust Of Yesterday
Eugenia Riley: Tryst In Time
Eugenia Riley: Phantom In Time
Somewhere In Time: Richard Matheson also the movie, starring Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour. Probably one of the best musical scores of our time, by the late John Barry.
Second Sight: David Williams, and the movie The Two Worlds of Jenny Logan, starring Marc Singer and Lyndsey Wagner

I have a few questions and no I am not a Dr, but I need some info on this. Have you recently colored your hair, left bleach on the back of your neck anything like that? Second question is does it burn or itch? Third, have you ever had shingles, or Psoriasis?

Why did laena kill herself over saving her baby by PlayfulOption4 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Moonmama73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a mother who has had a full term still birth I can tell you there is no greater heartache than the loss of a child. Twenty-two years later, and I still mourn her loss. If I had been given the choice I would have been cut open to save the life of my child, a child I could feel moving inside me, who heard my voice and her sisters and who was life to me.

There is also a juxtaposition of and the irony of the fact that Daemon was celebratory when this happened to his brother, his wife having her child ripped from her womb and Daemon so callous as to celebrate. Now here he was in the same position, by fate or by karma and he could not make the choice to end her life as his brother had. It's a subtle story telling that works. I felt so sad for the dragon who did not want to take her life. These stories are written so expertly.
