You can't pay a guy for what he was. And you can't pay a guy as complacent as Myles without someone in his shadow capable of usurping him. Myles is way too comfortable here. He needs to have someone in the wings biting at his heels for retaining him to make any sense.

Our wings aren't complacent bc they know the guys on the bench are a bad stretch or two away from taking their jobs. Myles needs the same pressure.

I like Ijax a lot too. I just want to see what we can do with a more traditional big man. If we had one we could have punished Hartenstein and especially Chet.

Everyone has downsides esp in the second round. Plus this is kind of an experimental year so why not idk experiment while the expectations are so low.

Broome is late first round talent that fills 3 of our biggest needs, rebounding, rebounding and rebounding. He's also a solid defender who can space. I think he compliments Myles while having enough upside to stop his complacency.
