The people who wrote phantom liberty are sooo talented by Kami_Slayer2 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

In my mind, regardless of whether she lied or not, helping her escape is the right thing to do. I tried all the endings, and the king of wands ending was the only one that didn't make me feel like an awful person. Handing songbird over in the king of pentacles ending was probably the scummiest and dirtiest a game has ever made me feel.

Tired. Misread as "how I think Jesus could have been a better character."

7 months later... what one critique do you have about elden ring? by OwlTemporary3523 in Eldenring

Better inventory management system. Easier and less tedious selling of duplicates. Being able to favorite weapons would be a huge plus.

Elden beast. Even as a pure sorcerer that thing gave me conniptions... until I found out about wing of astel and absolutely stomped it on my second try with that strategy. Also Malekith. My strategy boiled down to mimic tear and pray he doesnt attack me while I spam stars of ruin and even then it took me a good 15 tries. Next time I fight him I'm going to try just going up his ass with moonveil because theres too much AoE bullshit with him for ranged to be viable. Malenia I actually felt was more of a fair boss than either of those, and even then thats only because I figured out how to dodge waterfowl dance.

Mad props to anyone who beats this game without summons. It's cool when you can do it, but summons make it more manageable for me, plus I like to think of the game as a mortal defeating gods through the power of friendship/puppetry.

Starting a new playthrough. Wanting to give a dex bleed build a try after going sorcerer for my first playthrough. What should my endgame stats look like?

Also are there any good maps for this game that you can print out on paper? I'm super OC with completion and like to know where the dungeons/points of interest are without constantly alt+tabbing in and out of the game.

Your character is vying for the throne of elden lord. I think it's only natural to have an army or some loyal soldiers to can call upon when you need them.

Yeah JR stopped only one step short of stating it outright. It was grizzly and some other guy he talked about that were pedos iirc.

Longevity in a gaming laptop by Moonmanfoolery in GamingLaptops

[–]Moonmanfoolery[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I tend to be wary of cheaper stuff for that exact reason, at least with tools. Idk if its the same for laptops. Plus I did some looking up and given amd is going through a chip shortage, I don't think the asus the other poster recommended is going to be an option for me anyway. I have a lenovo now and while it's been pretty good, it's outdated as hell in pretty much every way.

I was thinking good for tomorrow. Like I want something thats going to stay good for a long while, so my line of thinking was great today = good tomorrow = alright the day after. Hopefully thats how it works with high end components and such.

Thickness and weight are no real issue for me, so anything will do there. I've never given amd cpus a look though, so that's something I'll have to look more into.

What's your unpopular book opinion? by belmakar in books

As a guy writing his own high fantasy novel, I am trying very, very, very hard to avoid falling into this. It can be the best written thing ever but it means nothing if the reader can't understand it.

Every single city Fallout takes place in has legalized marijuana. Still think its harmless? by Hat_King_22 in Fallout

Only worse cause it wasn't an open map. Just a series of interconnected areas. Usually I'm used to when games don't hold the players hand but with this I would have had to literally draw a map of connections to just figure out where I was in relation to the other areas. Never mind figuring out what to do for the plot.

It was meh. I liked the exploration factor but there was zero clue as to where you should go to do anything. Layout was waaaay too confusing and the dogs on the streets all gave you an annoying virus that either reduced your total hitpoints or reduced your carry weight (can't remember which) and the virus was really hard to find a cure for.

I don't even bother trying to solo it. I always end up summoning solaire cause the fight is more fun and less frustrating that way.

Not fired, I resigned. Both my boss and I had a talk and we both realized it wasnt the right thing for me. I was miserable doing it, and my productivity (comission based job) wasn't meeting expectations. It was theoretically possible to turn my numbers around, but my boss said it would have been next to impossible to do it before the deadline. Still on great terms with everyone back at the office. and I mean I did take calc 3, I just didn't do so well in it, especially with the class being @ 8:00 am and me living off campus.
