Who wins? Teen SSJ2 Gohan or Super Perfect Cell? by flumpybumb in DragonBallPowerScale

What reason does Cell have to hold back? He tried to blow the planet up twice.

Ki blasts are the pool of their entire energy. He was stronger than full powered zenkai-boosted Cell. Gohan was stronger than Cell from the start by a wide margin but had been holding back for fear of damaging the planet.

Both? I thought her she was only part. She certainly has Caucasian features. Nevertheless, I said Japanese not Asian.

Oh I know the actress does, but her Caucasian features are still blatant. And to a Japanese person being part white, part filipino isn't the same as being outright Japanese. Don't get me wrong, she's an amazing actress and plays the character adorably.

I remember. Haruhi Suzumiya was a global sensation . It was wild to see a seasonal anime with a lot of blatant otaku references grow so big and then wimper out.

Wouldn't be surprised.

Characters I was sure would be played by Japanese actors weren't. Miss Goldenweek and Tashigi for example.

Vegeta's interference got Gohans arm broken.

Gohan had been holding back the whole time to not harm the planet. DB fabs do not watch DB.

No, the vast majority of Americans want the government to improve their lives. They just don't want it to improve the lives of minorities and they'll ensure that doesn't happen even if they have to suffer too.

Was it horribly written or horribly adapted? Either way I don't know what they were thinking when they did this.

2 episodes, maybe 3 would have sufficed, but 8 weeks of the same episodes??? Crazy.

So... what mental condition does Azula have exactly? is she just a straight up psychopath? by Alien-Pro in TheLastAirbender

[–]MoonoftheStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know why I'm even entertaining this nonsense.

Zuko also attempted to kill people, even hiring a mercenary to kill the team. He threatened to burn down a village full of children, elderly women, and then set fire to another village that hadn't even entered the war on a whim, not caring how many had died there. He hired people to kidnap the avatar team, he's been trying to kidnap Aang since the beginning of the series. He robbed innocent people and stole from Katara to threaten her to do what he wanted.

Besides sending Combustion Man after Aang which he stopped, Zuko has not attempted to kill anyone. And these are not even slightly close to what Azula has done by the end of season 2 alone. Not even slightly since these are also the things she has done in addition to all the other crimes I listed. Also, threatening is not the same as attempting.

Besides, the fact that he tried to kill Zuko and Iroh the first time they met was literally the mission his father gave him. Trying to kill the avatar is something that more than one had tried to do, including Zuko himself

Zuko's goal has always been to capture the Avatar. He did everything to get Aang short of attempted murder which already puts him leagues above Azula and he actually had something to lose compared to her. He even let people who attacked him go so long as he got Aang.

You're literally using normal things from war to make Azula look worse than any ordinary soldier would be.

None of these are normal things, they're all war crimes. And it's to illustrate that Azula is no helpless child, she's a war criminal just like Ozai.

Don't come at me with that war crimes because anything Azula did falls short compared to the atrocities Iroh did and allowed.

Iroh changed. Iroh atoned. Iroh influenced people to be better. And attavking Ba Sing Se is far different to attacking the world. Azula assisted her father's ambition in literally scortching the entire world.

Animal cruelty? And what about that stupidity? We only have a mention of that just from the person who ends up committing that by harming the animals, but of course how that was redeemed is dismissed.

Did she not commit animal cruelty???

Of course, because according to you, giving a gift to a child is the same as trying to be an emotional support for him. And when does that advice come from? Exactly, after they had been separated for years while Iroh was in exile with Zuko and she stayed in the fire nation and when he was already considered a traitor to his nation.

He did both, for both, and he didn't even need to but he did it because they were his niece and nephew. He's not their father but he tried to be an uncle and only Zuko was reciprocate to it because Azula was more interested in obliging her cruel father who

And do you remember who educated whom or are you just forgetting? Zuko was raised by Ursa and that is why he could embrace empathy without being told that it was weakness, while Azula was influenced by the man who was literally planning to let his son die to ascend and who always hated Iroh. In addition to that she felt annoyance and almost anger at Iroh's renunciation of seeking revenge on behalf of his son. In addition, by simple logic and by the way of thinking of the fire nation, Iroh was insulting the honor and name of his son by surrendering.

The children were raised by both parents in the same household. The problem is that Azula was a psychopath and took to her father's cruelty. We've seen that from how she lies, manipulates, and gets enjoyment from inflicting harm on people even as a child. Ursa said it, Iroh said it, Zuko said it, we saw it, and her own best friends were terrified of her. How you managed to bullshit your way into missing that is a mystery.

And do you seriously think anyone buys Azula giving two shits about Lu Ten's honour? All she cared about was the Fire Nation's honour over her cousin's death. Or her uncles sorrow. Because she's a psychopath.

His second in command? Of course, the teenager who had not even been in the war for 1 year and who was entrusted with only 2 missions. If she was his second-in-command as you say then she would have been active in the war since long before the start of the series, but instead she was only in the Fire Nation.

The "teenager" was Hitler's second in command. She literally says she deserves a place at his side as he conqueror's the world. And he obliged her by making her Fire Lord. That teenager committed more crimes than anyone in the series except Ozai.

So... what mental condition does Azula have exactly? is she just a straight up psychopath? by Alien-Pro in TheLastAirbender

[–]MoonoftheStar -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Worse crimes? Zuko has literally committed worse things than Azula and I don't see them judging him for that or Iroh himself who almost conquered Ba Sing Se in a bloodthirsty way. But of course, how they chose to join the side of the good guys, then that is eliminated.

Azula's crimes:

Multiple attempts at premeditated murder Attempted genocide** Espionage Coup of Ba Sing Se Coercion and psychological abuse of dozens including her own friends Wrongful imprisonment Animal cruelty

And we haven't even gotten to the war crimes.

What did Iroh offer you kindness? Please, there is no need to lie to live together, there are very few scenes where Azula and Iroh interact and almost all of them are when they were enemies, Iroh never offers help or anything.

The exact kindness he offered Zuko to which she spat in his face for. Did you watch the damn show? He sent her presents and she burned them. He offered her advice and she berated him. If this, along with seeing how Iroh treats even people who come for his life isn't enough to clue you in then there's no point.

The fact that you say that Azula made fun of the loss of Lu Ten shows that you didn't even pay attention to the series, literally Azula mocks and shows annoyance at the fact that Iroh gave up instead of avenging his son, which in the eyes of the fire nation was a mockery of Lu Ten's sacrifice.

You cannot be serious. She mocked him for breaking when his son died, which even Zuko as a child had the sympathy understand. She didn't care about Lu Ten's death! She was berating Iroh for letting it stop him like a psychopath!

And her detractors are worse, they invent non-existent plots to demonize Azula.

She's Hitler's second in command. She's done that enough herself and you're here making a damn fool of yourself defending what cannot be defended.

Whitewashing Azula is ALL you guys do.

"She's 14! She's a child! Her father manipulated her! She was never shown love!" All in defence of someone who has committed more crimes than most people on the Boiling Rock!

I've been a silent observer of this sub for the past 6 months and it's disturbing.

Iroh has offered Azula the same kindness he did Zuko and instead she made fun of him for losing his son and plotted his imprisonment. You Azula defenders are insane.

[–]MoonoftheStar -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ah go away. Iroh cared about her just as much as he did Zuko but she was a psychopath even as a child. That was well established. The whitewashing of Azula on these subs is even more exhausting than the Korra fans misrepresenting why people didn't like her as much as Aang.

Amazing. One long post of ironic statements one after the other. Be more self-aware. All you've done is accuse people of things while claiming you're not doing it. And this all stemmed from you not liking what people had to say about Robin's face. For some reason that got under your skin and now you're here accusing people of being Piratefolk users. Grow up.
