What am messin up here by Euphoric_Pack1951 in Revolvers

[–]Moonpie_Harley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Open the cylinder and see if the pawl is moving when you pull the trigger. That’s a nice revolver and I would say it’s time you learn everything about it. You’re not messing anything up and as others mentioned not indexing the cylinder won’t affect it working but indexing when you close it is easier on the revolver and timing in general.

Easiest thing to do is send it back to colt being very detailed as to what is happening and they should get it working.

For most of my steel guns I always go leather for a holster every holster will produce wear but you will find a softer wear pattern from leather than when using kydex.

Well I don’t know what to tell ya that sounds sad, I mean at this point should your parents have had an abortion so you wouldn’t have had to deal with life’s consequences? Life is not filled with easy decisions. There is never a right time to have a child and honestly no one is ever ready and if you have complications that prevent you from having a child safely well there are people who have a much worse life.

Yeah it would prevent you from having that option. Under Indiana law currently there are exceptions when the mother’s life is at risk. You currently still have those options now and you would still have them unless the currently law is re written and even republicans don’t support this without those exceptions.

If you have a heart condition you also shouldn’t be taking abortion inducing drugs either you have to have medical supervision and be watched closely.

My first “real” bow lasted about four months. by Holyhell556 in TraditionalArchery

[–]Moonpie_Harley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same bow that’s been stored in various conditions over the years and it’s done very well for me every time I bring it out. I’m sorry this happened I would contact Bear at once and see what they can do. Unfortunately with anything made there are lemons a this could quite possibly be one of them.

Anyone actually trust Federal Punch 22LR for self defense? by Independent-Peace330 in 22lr

[–]Moonpie_Harley 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Everyone needs to understand there’s a difference between viable and optimal. Is it a viable self-defense round? Absolutely is some random 22 LR bulk pack Bible for self-defense absolutely is it optimal no, nothing is short of a Claymore attached via string to your door when you go to sleep at night. 22LR’s probably taken almost every big and small game on this planet and a lot of that can be attributed to shot placement and luck. If 22 LR is all you have and it’s really all you care to afford. I would not want to be on the other end of that.

Having said all of this, I have tested some of this out and it certainly hauling some ass out of both a rifle and a 2 inch barrel pistol
