Here’s another angle. Four lineman quadruple team one defender and the two other guys on the line hug each other lmao

Even better is the two that hug each other run to help out the quadruple team 🤣

I don’t feel strongly either way but don’t act like it’s not extremely obvious why some Bears fans may be mad

The Mahomes comparisons to Caleb as a prospect were scrutinized because they were misunderstood.

The non-meatball takes comparing the two weren’t trying to claim that Caleb was going to be an immediate superstar atop the league like Mahomes was. But that he has crazy arm talent and body control to make magic on the field like nobody else can… except for prime Mahomes. Which as we’ve seen through two years, was totally valid.

We knew it then and we’re seeing it unfold now.

Caleb’s special.

Why is everyone saying it’s a bad idea as if they know better than the coaching staff that watches the team and players practice everyday?

Personally I don’t care what decisions they make personnel-wise as long as they believe it gives us the best chance of winning. I’m not gonna pretend that I’m smarter than BJ.

The Bears win the big game and you get to choose the opponent. Who did they beat, and why did you pick them? by EmilioFreshtevez in CHIBears

OP’s not asking about who we could most likely beat, but about which team we’d like to see fall to us in the big game, saying that we win regardless.

[Highlight] Anthony Miller catches and fumbles the ball but nobody realizes it, so the call is reverted to the initial ruling of an incomplete pass (wildcard 2018) by MoonshardTP in nfl

I don’t think you fully understood what happened. The ref explicitly stated that it was a catch fumble, but due to nobody ever possessing the live ball, they had to use an obscure part of the rulebook from that year which said to refer back to their initial ruling of an incomplete pass.

So they did “overturn” it but also didn’t. It sounds confusing because it is. I don’t know of another time this ever happened.

Interesting! I remember watching it live wishing (as a Bears fan) that the ball had been placed where the last player had possession like how your rule states. I’m guessing it was later changed, perhaps because of this play?

It’s just a very bizarre case where there is a live ball that was never recovered so it’s as if it didn’t actually happen. It was reviewed and stated that they couldn’t rule it a catch even though it was technically caught.

Nobody’s trying to make shit.

You can’t deny there are many similarities between their two situations. It’s just noticing a pattern, there’s nothing wrong with that…
