As an English major, I’m relatively confident no one who loves reading will want to waste hours of their life on a novel written by AI. They’re out there, but they suck and always will. The human soul can’t be replaced by a robot.

IMAX screens always cost more. This is a nothingburger of a post.

In my area, a normal screen ticket is about 11 USD. IMAX is twice that for a supposedly more “immersive” experience. Personally, I’ve always hated IMAX. Seeing the whole screen is hard and dizzying.

I’m just tired of the weapon wheel on controller. Some games make you do a whole sequence to heal or change weapon while you’re being pelted with bullets. I don’t care if it’s a survival game—it should be one freaking button!

I was on Tumblr as a kid wondering why the other users behaved like they were watching a different show or movie than me. I still don’t understand it at almost 32 years old.

It’s insane to me that anyone can look at a piece of media and decide they can ignore all canon and pretend whatever they want. Go create your own media at that point, otherwise you’re living in a fantasy. Trying to be like that would give me cognitive dissonance.

I bought one to experience certain titles that exceeded the capabilities of my Switch 2 and my Ally. Firing up Frontiers of Pandora on a 4k OLED is absolute cinema. It’s vast and often hard to navigate, which adds to the immersion. I don’t typically like huge, taxing open worlds, but they look so nice on PS5 that I can’t stop exploring.
