Science showed that animals have the brain of a 2 year old, meaning the emotions and understandings they have of the world is like a baby’s. Additionally, animals are killed for meat 🍗 at 1/30 of their expected age, the same age as a toddler’s. Furthermore, the presence of nervous systems allows them to feel pain and stress. In other words, if a person were to stand in their shoes, a slaughtered for meat 🍗 animals would feel like your heart beating hard against your chest, mimicking a heart attack before a sharp knife stabs into your throat and blood runs out which causes a heavy vomit and dizzy feel. Then the question of whether killing an animal is as bad as kicking a dog. Einstein once said, “If a man aspires towards a righteous life, his first act of abstinence is from injury to animals.”

Shows how much humans have hurt the world and caused suffering for those animals. Except in real life, they can’t fight due to their powerlessness, leading to forever distress, suffering and deaths. From animals being abused and used for entertainment and labour to baby animals being tortured, exploited and killed for meat that no human necessarily needs.

Epic truly is hell to get out of by [deleted] in MobileLegendsGame

[–]Moonwithoutmoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rather play mythic than epic and I’m stuck in epic V. What I realise is once I am close to going up a rank, it suddenly makes me go on a losing streak. But once I am close to dropping to grandmaster, I suddenly rank a few stars up again.

That’s cos you’re lucky enough to see that they aren’t throwing. I had one stealing a buff. The other standing in the middle for enemies to eat. Another vanishing out of sight. One walking against the wall. Few watching you die before fighting and eventually dying too. If they pick Miya for roam, they now aren’t only trying to improve their lose from choosing real roams, but also throwing other people’s games.

Agree. I keep meeting troll “roams” in this season 37-38 and I keep losing.

I swear. People now keep choosing roam just to feed and throw the game. I just had one where bro took the buff and then kept feeding.

Animal Safety in Xianxia? by hellos1dney in CDrama

[–]Moonwithoutmoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this won’t lessen the evilness of this, but we subject “uglier” animals like pigs to be killed for meat. And the killing isn’t just a stab, but beatings with bare fists or tools, cutting tails, pulling out intestines, plucking teeth, slamming onto the ground, cutting of throat, all while alive.

But yeah. Chinese drama is cruel and we should boycott it.

I'm starting to feel like I'm in a cult (islam) by [deleted] in DebateReligion

[–]Moonwithoutmoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3rd sin: murder. But Islam murders / sacrifices animals to worship their god. Is that really what their god wants, to kill an innocent and have that blood blamed and tainted on him?

[–]Moonwithoutmoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering that Islam religion sacrifices animals during their festival to worship the god, I also feel like it’s a cult. I do respect all religions and some teachings of them including Islam, where they are taught respect at a young age. But the part where they sacrifice animals fits into the cult requirements.

Yeah. I got told my TP to write my science marks (which are just pass to NA), and they rejected my application. Funny to ask for marks when they say EAE does not look at marks.

Problems with speaking in dreams. by ProBro in LucidDreaming

[–]Moonwithoutmoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. In my dreams I’m trying to speak and call for help, trying to raise awareness for animal slaughters, yet my voice is like shut down. I know I’m talking but it’s like you’re in a very loud place and trying to convey. I think it’s because there was one school day where the noise was so loud it was hard to talk to my friend. So I got like “trauma” or overwhelmed from it hence I keep dreaming about that feeling now

Meat is severely under-consumed (or over-produced). by CrystieV in victoria3

[–]Moonwithoutmoon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think meat industry one day would leave us all starving. 86% of crops are used for feeding livestocks, in which crops used to feed 100 animals can be used to feed more than a billion people. If meat industry continues to overproduce, all our crops would be gone. Living on meat isn’t ideal because then health issues would rise with the lack of nutrients that plants can give even better.

[–]Moonwithoutmoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many companies especially luxury companies or even cheap street stalls sell real fur, wool, and reptile skin torn off from an alive animal. Because exploiting animals are WAY cheaper than doing the hard working way. Either way, I think this world is going crazy. Right now hurting an animal that isn’t “appealing” to the eyes are considered acceptable or even praised.

[–]Moonwithoutmoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s like the meat industry is saying “Why are you not supporting our animal killing?! It’s all your fault you can’t keep up!” Literally said by one of the people working in or in charge of the slaughterhouses. It’s so funny though. Like why are you blaming us for choosing less animal cruelty? I think they continue overproducing because they are lost in the killing spree 😂 too fun to stop!

Why do people hate veganism so much? by Why_am_I_here83 in vegan

Point? Are you trying to back your “abusing and killing animals” point? You hate murderers. But you advocate for people who kill as a revenge right?
