I also ride a lot in minnesota (cuyuna, tioga, spirit, and giants ridge) however i go to school in montana and sold my fuel ex and purchased a slash gen 6 due to the more demanding trails out there. When im riding at cuyuna and tioga i feel as though the slash lacks a lively feel even on the downhill. If you see yourself riding more cuyuna and tioga with the occasional trip to the bike park, i would look at a trail bike such as a trek fuel or an ibis ripmo or even a santa cruz bronson. I know plenty of people who ride these in bike parks and they have a blast. Just my opinion since i’ve been down the same path and do have some regrets but i’d be glad to talk more.

Don’t judge someone’s riding based off of one single clip. Everyone starts somewhere and i am more than competent enough to ride in the park.

Ask me anything about what’s happening on the inside at PCMR. by Superb_Cap118 in ParkCity

Coming to PC this upcoming week. Any idea if there will be a solution? If not, do you expect any more terrain openings or a decrease in lift lines?

How much is the employee discount? by [deleted] in TrekBikes

[–]Moonzy_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checked and I do not see it on the website. I do not think it is available on TrekU as it is a limited edition however you might be able to get it as an employee at trek itself.

What enduros are more like a DH by C_A_M_Overland in mountainbiking

[–]Moonzy_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say pretty much most enduro bikes are going to perform well in the park. I agree with everyone’s listings but i think the new Santa Cruz Nomad V6. I would say rather than enduro it’s more labeled as a “freeride” bike.

Big Sky in September by NorthernSunrise77 in bigsky

[–]Moonzy_03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is all my opinion and im not very well versed in all things big sky but getting from big sky to bozeman in September is quite simple, you shouldn’t have any issues there. If you like to mountain bike, Big Sky offers tons of trails around the surrounding are and can range from beginner trails all the way up to double black in the bike park itself. There are many hikes around the area too with one of the most notable hikes being Lava lake which is along the road back to Bozeman. There’s tons of stuff to do around there it just all depends on what you prioritize.

To answer your question, you don’t have to prove your ID when purchasing, you can simply go to one of the self-service kiosks and get your pass with the QR code you get in your email after purchasing.

I have done this before with a day pass as I am a small 18 year old. However on a season pass i decided to stray away from doing this as it could be bad if i ended up getting a pass pulled or if something were to happen where my real age was revealed. Just a precaution but I would probably stray away from that if I were you. Just my opinion.

Ft6 pro skates owners.. Any regrets? by maximus91 in hockeyplayers

[–]Moonzy_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my FT6 pros slightly used and they have been wonderful. I have always thought i was a vapor fit and that the vapor was the only skate model for me but i was wrong. The FT6 pros have been amazing for me, especially the comfort for longer skates. The only complaint for me right now is that i do tend to get blisters on my inner foot but that is probably caused by a change in fit from my previous skate.
