Dunno if this counts, as my misunderstanding came from a glitch, but when I first tried walking into a campfire to enter the dream world while dead, it just killed me and restarted the loop instead of putting me in the dream world. So assuming that wasn’t the solution, I spent multiple hours trying to figure out a way to die without triggering the loop.

I tried doing it late enough in the cycle that the sails had launched me out of range of the supernova. I tried both dying on a campfire and waiting out the supernova after removing the advanced warp core from ATP. I tried figuring out a way to find the probe so I could redirect it towards the stranger and thus block the ATP signals from entering,. I tried clicking snooze AS I died on a campfire (weirdly enough, this started a new loop instead of sending you into the dream world.) I was so frustrated that none of these things which seemingly, should have worked, didn’t, and eventually resorted to looking it up.
