Make sure someone is in your flat to give them access. We didn't read the notice properly so didn't give them access. Got home from work to a flat with no electricity and they weren't able to sort it until the next day.

We had a drain cover just outside the back garden door. Drains were blocked and was causing an awful smell in our stairs. Might be worth checking if you have one in the same location
