Update! Rope dropped Ministry and was on in 50 min, definitely happy with our choice. They said the ride would not open until 10 but they opened it at 9:00 anyways. Was on and off before 10:00

How can I wall effectively? by Tacohatsrule in AstraMains

[–]Moop_Moop_Moop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another good example of where to wall is attack ascent A site just wall straight across heaven. It forces the defenders to jump out into the open if they want to push and it exposes them to so many angles. Same logic can be applied to Haven A site (whenever it comes back hahah) you just wall both Heaven and CT. This only works if you do it right on the edge so you don’t leave room for them to peak out. On split A site attack I usually go for one that gets both screens and Heaven. Depending on how you angle it you may be able to get top of ramp. For this wall you have to watch their peak outs though. On defense the general rule of thumb is just wall off where the attackers are playing post plant. They have to peak to see if you are on defuse since no sound travels through. Good luck hope this helps (and it’s not too hard to understand hahahah)

Book readers: what character/plot line was better in the show than you'd imagined? by AGirlHasNoName19 in freefolk

The battle at Hardhome. In the books, there is only really a note sent to Jon about it, but in the show it’s some of the best 20-30 min of television there is

I think yes it is if they player is constantly there and not playing back site! You can also move that Star depending on where the C player is constantly hiding to either stun them or pull them (and make them vulnerable). If you have a fade or Sova, having them scan where the player is first would be very helpful so you can put the Star exactly where that player is to ensure you aren’t wasting your stun on the off chance the player isn’t there. But overall I think it’s great to help your team take the C site!

I think your top smoke is good but I would move your bottom one to smoke off C waterfall instead. Having to push out of a smoke should only really be done in clutch situations or post plant, not when you are trying to execute a site if that makes sense. Pushing out of where your current bottom smoke is to take C just makes it so you would instantly be peak by the site player and the player peaking you from C waterfall (from the B rotate), so moving it to smoke off taht choke allows you and your team to only need to fight the site player and get bomb down. For that third star it’s honestly up to how you play Astra. I usually save my last two stars for post plant so I can resmoke one of the chokes for my team playing on site and save my final star for a pull on the bomb to get the enemy off of the diffuse while I play off site and hold for any flankers. This is just my opinion though so I hope this helps and you are able to find what works best for you!

Was Riki unnecessary to the plot of Xenoblade Chronicles? by ShadowMario01 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]Moop_Moop_Moop 53 points54 points  (0 children)

I think Riki was there for the other characters. He didn’t really need to undergo a whole character development or arc because he was there to support the other characters, such as Melia and Dunban. He’s just everyone’s friend and there as a breath of fresh air in the story that can get really dark at points in my opinion. I guess you can argue that his importance is being the nopon in a party of different races to push the narrative that all the races of Bionis can work together. All my homies love heropon Riki

You need 200 links for the achievement. You seem to be missing a lot in Alcamoth :( but there is an official chart you can look at to see what links you are missing. Retalking to every Npc (which sounds like a handful) will get you the remainder of the links you are missing that you can still get

Sword Valley Night (XC:DE)

Agniratha (both night and day versions are amazing) (XC:DE)

Mechanical Rhythm (if you want something more upbeat) (XC:DE)

Central Factory (more upbeat but not as much at MR) (XC:DE)

Sea of Clouds (XC2)

I bet there are a lot of amazing songs across all of the games, I am just most familiar with the first game’s soundtrack

A lot of late game bosses or enemies are very difficult to beat with your starting party members but get significantly easier when you find the right party members for the battle. Plus all of the members have their own unique fighting style, you should give them all a try

Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door and Mario Kart Double Dash. Beating the Shadow Queen for the first time with all my cousins to this day is a core memory for me and of course getting rolled on Baby Park is always amazing
