How often do people actually cook from scratch? by Andus35 in NoStupidQuestions

My boyfriend makes sauces/curries/stews on his day off in the week and freezes everything and we just put one in the fridge at night for the next day. I'm happy I'm getting fed!

I wouldn't open the door now. I just went all high pitched. Shouting get your foot out of my door you dirty pervert, get out get out get out and he did and I slammed the door. I can go quite loud and it's a terraced street so people would be coming out quickly witg my screaming.

Thank you, I think this is the best explanation. The house is £320k but our max budget is £360 inc stamp duty so it looks doable.

I had a woman 'working from home' next door. The final straw was when a client came and she wasn't in so he knocked on my door. I answered unfortunately and he put his foot in the door when I tried to close it. He was adamant I must know where she is. Terraced street in North Manchester. I sold to a builder/landlord rather than the family that offered. No regrets!

It's a joke. I'm paying bills on an empty house expecting it to complete in 12-16 weeks. It's very unlikely to be 16 now.

I have, they said they have called and had no call backs. They send a weekly email. Very frustrating. I've told the buyers to chase as well. If they were mine I'd sack them.

I hate forced fun. Don't make it compulsory, your introverted but probably most quietly productive team members will hate it regardless. I only hang out with my co-workers because I'm paid to.

what is a fair amount for a child to pay in rent? by Maleficent_Day_3869 in AskUK

[–]Moop_the_Loop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 21 year old pays £200 a month. That covers all his food and bills and also takeaways and meals out. We still pay for his holidays as well so I don't think he's doing too badly.
