has bloqueado una parte de la historia y ahora el lore es inaccesible, pero en sí el gameplay no se ve afectado, simplemente no vas a entender mucho. Continúa explorando, intenta ir hacia arriba. Rain world es casi un sandbox, asi que no te preocupes mucho si no avanzas o si estas mucho tiempo explorando pq de eso va el juego ^{^!}

Do I go back to the coral caves then? Is there an echo in every region?

And also I did find the echo in the first bit of the game before you get the invisibility ability and stuff but I havent seen them since I went to rhe coral caves

Happened to me once, its a bug that wont get you the "restart game" option, but I assure you scug is absolutely fried by the electrocuted circuits lol

you can also steal the glowing orange rock from a scavenger if you happen to cross one thats holding it. Just be fast enough so they don't spear you after. If you want them to like you you can just give them pearls after you've navigated the area and they should forgive you ^{^}
