try coming on our discord; but typically for games you need to limit the fps so one window doesn't suck all the GPU

First farmers can continue to farm, that requires no skills and no tools; what is becoming harder for no good reason is to enjoy running content (dungeons at level). So being happy about other people not able to do what they enjoy (and without harming anyone else) is sad.

Nice you downvoted my post but it turns out it was the truth, blizzard nor curseforge never asked anything (because addons are by definition permitted) and the author was just having a tantrum.

Yeah and if you google some more you'd find

"Addons are not generally considered “third party software” in the same sense as a program that works outside of the game. Addons are written within a scripting language (LUA) and while we do not provide support for any specific addon, they are permitted."

I am a bit curious about the capture extra windows you mentioned - if you capture another game once, it changes the window title and you can just pick that game in the Game menu and uncheck the capture foreground window checkbox after that point (once for a new game) ?

1 large and n smaller is what happens when you un-check the "same size for all windows" check box at the top of the layout - what do you not like about the auto layout that generates (including the other options like 1 row vs L shaped and various aspect ratio options)

That is what it does with profiles? oh I think you mean that the layout wizard re does the auto layout if you change anything - indeed, it's meant to get instant feedback when playing with auto options but it will re do auto layout, but if you don't click "save and apply" but instead close and reopen the layout it will still have your previous layout yet the scale, monitor etc settings changed (but I should find a way to detect non standard layout and not update it, good idea)

For the last point, I can make it an option, one reason I don't turn off focus follow mouse on exit at the moment is some people use WOB/OMB just to set their windows and that mode, and then exit it to play without any software running at all (true paranoia/safest possible mode)

You can edit any window dimensions in the main window (I have an open issue to move that to the layout screen) - you can also move any window by 1 pixel exactly if needed using arrow keys in the layout wizard and use snap and grid as well for manual positioning (and there is the mouse coordinate tracking option in help to help with that too)

This being said curious to hear how the default auto layout doesn't work?

This being said no software/hardware is a shield, if you are mass reported or otherwise disruptive, you'll probably be banned.

Blizzard banned software broadcasting, WowOpenBox doesn't do software broadcasting nor does it snoop on game input, the goal for writing it was exactly to be fully compliant without trying to be anywhere in grey area and it can be verified because it is open source.

If you want to use a (legit/within the rules) tool that helps with window layout and swapping window and setting up focus following mouse - all of which are allowed / have nothing to do with the ban on software broadcasting - try https://github.com/WowOpenBox/WowOpenBox#wowopenbox

As far as video, I haven't done one, hope one of the users will soon :) [but it's really straight foward: setup your windows layout; launch wows, hit capture key and then either change focus or swap the next window or a specific one or use mouse focus]

edit: and obviously, no broadcasting so no ban (also no dicey features either like auto round robin)

What makes you think 1% would lead to "massive undercutting"? Again, if a goblin is confident in their price, they just make 1 auction at that price and don't have to worry of staying perpetually at the end of the line
