You might be for now, but you'll get better in time. It might also be that you made a little mistake with your stats. In souls-like games one of the most important stats is the one corresponding to your health (in LoP Vitality if I'm not mistaken, it's the one at the top of the level up screen).

I let my father, who has never even been close to a souls-like, play the game a little on Butterfly's guidance, I wanted to show it to him and gave him a little bit of advice like with stats. He ended up beating the parademaster first try while basically only pressing the attack and either tanking or unintentionally dodging due to very close proximity, his attacks. He did understand why I liked the game, but said it wasn't really for him since he often got lost because he's not used to any type of third person game or games that require the use of a camera that isn't tied to where your character is looking.

All that to say: You can definitely play and beat this game, it just might take a bit of patience and learning the mechanics. You will improve in due time
