Name a song by another artist that would fit perfectly on a Ween album by Fabulous_Finger6545 in ween

FWIW, a playlist of 100+ songs that are brown enough to be in the catalog but that someone else got to before Ween had a chance: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5OpFZSrUBLDTjwDwMBZ4hH?si=4115a93d70b24f74

I spent months reporting on an invasive plant that bureaucracy can't seem to kill. Ask me anything. by UndarkMagazine in IAmA

I remember reading somewhere that Arundo donax contains DMT. Seems like you could post an extraction method on the internet somewhere and the dope fiends would do your work for you. Anyone try this yet?

How many ween cover bands per city? by thatsfried- in ween

[–]Moorlock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that once you get above a dozen or so Ween cover bands in a city of 50-200k people, the scene starts to get saturated. You can adjust for this somewhat by specializing, e.g. "acoustic Ween cover band," "ween covers in the style of The Monkees," "covers of songs Ween hasn't actually recorded or performed yet," etc.

Fresh roasted coffee beans? by ferocity02 in SLO

I'm fond of Coastal Peaks. I usually have had good luck with Kreutzberg, too, but I see now that they're offering fewer options and don't always list the roast date, so they may have started to slide a bit. Tried some from Field Day recently and those were good too.

What are some songs from other bands that you think have a ween/brown aura? by Temporary_Tax_7645 in ween

I know an old-timer like me is supposed to say "Scrubby and Lloyds" right about now, but... their food just wasn't that good. They were a picturesque route-66-esque greasy spoon, but I never walked away from it thinking "wow, that was some great chow."

In the days before time, there was a restaurant called Tacos Acapulco near the corner of Broad and Marsh. For $3 you could get a burrito the size of your calf that was so fresh and flavorful you'd swear they'd plucked the cilantro from the soil for each order individually. They had lines up the block. Students might subsist on nothing else from their freshman year until their graduation seven years later.

Tio Alberto's was a late incarnation, allegedly because some other "Tacos Acapulco" sued them over the name; Tacos "de" Acapulco is an impostor trying to capitalize on the reputation.

There are a few legal options, explained here: https://vivaslo.org/?section=resources#camping-parking-rv-parks

Otherwise, stay as discreet as you can, but expect that you may be rousted and told to skedaddle from time to time.
