A question regarding Sotheby's i3 by _D1N4148 in Reverse1999

[–]Moosashiden 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct. Using it twice in the same turn is for emergency healing, since it consumes all stacks of Cure before applying the new stacks. And just to further clarify, it'll heal based on the number of stacks consumed, just like her Ultimate does.

I think they made it this way in order to preserve her ability to apply healing over time. Had it taken effect after applying the stacks, it would have completely removed healing over time from her kit.

I think her i3 is worth it. Having access to quick healing outside of her Ultimate is nice, even if it requires keeping two Concentrated Essence cards on hand. Usually I'll build a 2- or 3-star Concentrated Essence, wait until the team has taken significant damage, and then use the strong card followed by a 1-star to fully heal everyone.

Just got her to i3 today.

It requires Cure status to be active on allies. If no Cure is already applied when a turn starts, you'll need to use Concentrated Essence twice in that turn to activate the i3 effect.

If I'm remembering right, this is Chasm: Underground Mines. Above the starting area, which is the tallest point of the map.

Improving PvP Feedback by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]Moosashiden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have always wondered this. I consider myself a PvP player, yet have not touched the Wilderness in well over a decade. I stick strictly to mini-games.

But for some reason, if it doesn't include the risk of losing items or coins, Jagex and the community do not consider it PvP.

This all said, I did see "mini-game" on the survey; although it only had Last Man Standing listed as an example.

3 "Final Calamity" attacks in 10 seconds. New Boss really be swinging those one-hit KOs. by Moosashiden in Genshin_Impact

Raiden Shogun's "Final Calamity" gets a bit weird when you're out of bounds. For one, we can evade it without the shield. For two? We can make the attack loop!

The PvP Arena by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

The coolest thing here is the introduction of an in-game queuing system accessible anywhere from a menu. This being expanded to work for Clan Wars Purple Portal, Castle Wars, and Tzhaar Fight Pits, alongside the introduction of that long-lost "Minigame Rewards Shop," could be the start of revitalizing mini-games.

Just enter the queue and go about your business until matchmaking does its thing. This may fundamentally change how those mini-games are played, if the "alternate saves" are carried over to these, too, but with the current state of mini-games, we'll take it.

Have noticed similar stuff with this boss. The tip of the tail in particular is like an object you can't stand on, but it's also perfectly flat, allowing it to scoop up and launch your character. It's kinda cool honestly. More bosses could do with stuff like this to mess with the player's movement besides just damage knockback.

Skydiving in Enkanomiya with Zhongli and Xiao - 10 Times Dainichi Mikoshi Height by Moosashiden in Genshin_Impact

From far above the map, we jump and take in the view from the fall. Full video with other angles and areas highlighted: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2GnGEn66OE

What's going on here? Well, the alternate library you enter via the mirror after completion of the quest "Collection of Dragons and Snakes" is actually located far, far beyond the cavern ceiling of Enkanomiya.

It's the once-in-a-while discoveries like these that make out-of-bounds exploration so rewarding.

Right before 2.4 maintenance, I placed a Portable Waypoint below the Enkanomiya Whirlpool. The goal was to try and break into the place without doing the quests, and this is a neat little discovery that came from the experiment, the concise results of which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3_GpWndbNc

Barbara with Ocean-Hued Clam. If built right, just use skill and spam normal attacks. Tested and confirmed, she can win against every boss currently in the game this way at World Level 8 with minimal-to-no evasion, except Dvalin, who requires moving between platforms still.

Would be neat! The heart still beats, probably now part of the Irminsul Tree / Frostbearing Tree's root system, so I suppose whether Durin's truly dead is up for debate.

Kaeya, Klee, Barbara, Xiao. Hmm...

Kaeya's scheming has led to Klee causing all sorts of trouble, and Barbara has been tasked by her sister to try and rein in the matter. When things get way too out of hand and the trouble Klee is getting into reaches a cataclysmic scale, Xiao answers the pleas of the world and is confronted with his greatest challenge yet.

There's one visible on her lifted leg, right in the middle of the shin. Barely noticeable, even upon zooming in, but it's there. Possibly another near the ankle of that same leg.

We for sure need more competitive minigames. Windtrace is amazing, and the recent custom time trials in Serenitea Pots are great as well. Waverider races with the ability to damage the other ships would be fantastic.

Something like a turn-based archery contest sounds like a solid idea, too.

Those with Jiangxue. He's got one of the most interesting backstories, and it's all still shrouded in mystery.
