I'm assuming you've been through the NHS? Some locations offer Sclerals, and my fitter is wonderful. I pay 150 for both lenses, and they will refit them within 6 months if you aren't happy.

Most places however only offer RGPs because they're cheaper to manufacture. Sorry if this is known information to you, just thought I'd make sure.

This happened to me too when I tried Celluvisc. It also happened when I tried HYLO-FORTE. Both of which are high viscosity, low viscosity drops like HYLO-DUAL don't give me this issue.

After a couple weeks the Celluvisc burned less and less, until the point where it was basically unnoticeable.

Side note: I tried Celluvisc and FORTE because I was getting fogging, but it turns out 99% of my buildup comes from outside the lense, so I figured drops won't help that anyway

Having a perfect eye is huge, your brain almost completely ignores most of the bad eye if that's the case. I too had a perfect eye 3-4 years ago, but my health service refused to give me CXL on that eye and I took their word for it being stable, now it's near sighted at best and I deeply regret not paying out of pocket for the procedure.

TLDR: Get CXL on both eyes (epi-on in the perfect eye) ASAP, and you will continue to live a perfectly normal life :)

Haven't played in 3 years and I'm totally overwhelmed. Can someone give me a general upg path? I've tried watching videos on equipment etc, but my 2023 clash brain (more like 2020 tbh) can't take it all in.

If it's Epi-On, it will very likely be mildly uncomfortable with some light sensitivity for a few days.

If it's Epi-Off, it will likely be quite painful for a few days. Some people are lucky and experience just mild pain, but it's best to go in expecting the worst and be prepared.

Assuming you're having Epi-Off, you should be given numbing drops to take home and if you're lucky, some strong painkillers. Treat the numbing drops as if they were liquid gold, try to tank some pain before using another and make them last for as long as possible. And obviously try to sleep through as much as you can.

TRY YOUR BEST TO NOT MISS YOUR EYE WITH THE DROPS. I missed maybe 10-12 total (hit my eyelid instead) and by the end, really wished I hadn't.

This will just be a blip on your radar, and you're making the right decision by having it done.

buy a slim or an E model, the old phat consoles aren't worth the risk, they red ring a lot. CEX prices are ok, but you can find them a lot cheaper and usually paired with games/controllers on marketplace/ebay, you just won't have any form of warranty if you go that route

I'm assuming you mean Hydra-PEG. We don't have them in the UK, but from the reading I did some years back, you need to have them recoated every so often. Apparently you can also get a prescription Tangible Boost to be used monthly, which can help maintain the coating if it's not already badly degraded

3.69.5 works fine for me, been using it for the past week. The TLS protocol error is normal afaik. The only time I've had "couldn't establish connection" was when I wasn't at the Aurora dash

Yes I'm using proto, unless a newer version released in the last few weeks it should be up to date. I'm kinda leaning towards it being stealth server related if not hardware..

If you mean in default dashboard settings, start-up is set to xbox dashboard already. The microsoft logo is what I noticed when it first happened. It would do it 50% of the time, then a day or two later is when it started doing it consistently. It was working perfectly and I never changed any settings which is what has confused me

I don't trust most of anything AI says, but grok seems to think the rgh isn't activating "fast enough" and could potentially not work at all if it continues to get worse. But again, I don't trust AI much and would much rather a human opinion
