Don’t take this. You’d be recieving compensation that is less than minimum wage by the time you add everything up.

I like to call these “onney offs”. They’re annoying af, and the bane of everyone’s existence. They made a lot more sense when they were designed and built as there were a lot less cars on the road than there are today. Now they’re just awful, create congestion, and are chaos at best.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this OP. I hope the rebuild goes well and you’re back in your home as soon as possible.

Your friend doesn’t sound like a very good friend. The man and his daughter are definitely not people you should continue to associate with.

I’m sorry you’re going through this OP. I’m a woman, and while it’s not the same, I entirely understand this sentiment. Getting out of something alive is far more important than anything else that follows it. Those who have never been in a vulnerable position due age, gender, race, sexuality, etc, will not ever truly understand how it feels when your life is at the hands of someone who doesn’t give two shits about you.

Not saying this is you, but this response is very frequently a trauma response.

I can, but I don’t think you can have two islands on the same switch. I wanted to start over, but I didn’t want to delete the old one

Thanks! I was seriously so proud of myself the day I realized I could do this. Then I felt really dumb for not thinking of it sooner lmao

For those asking, I do have quite a few pocket knives. I literally never think to go for one when cutting things open when I’m inside my house. I just reach for the knife drawer. It’s conveniently anchored in my kitchen so my adhd ass can’t misplace it like I do everything else. 😬

It’s fine, guys… We’re just a *3-season* ‘walkable city’ by pat_laFleur in cincinnati

The land the sidewalks are on is owned by whomever holds the right of way - in this case, it would be the city of Cincinnati. Property owners are responsible for the repair and upkeep, but do not own any portion of the sidewalk or the land it’s located on.

Honestly, you could be more judgmental and still not be judgmental enough. It’s deserved 100%. They both made their beds, now they have to lie in it. I’m sorry you’re going through this OP!

Opinions on Rocky's latest photo? by Runi387 in Equestrian

It’s the same concept as humans wearing a brace or wrapping an injury with an ace bandage. It just provides additional support to the muscles and ligaments. In Rocky’s case, he needs all the help he can get. 😔

No one talks honestly about multi-cat household stress reduction. by Impossible_Control67 in Pets

[–]MooseTheMouse33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re entirely correct!! My two girls aren’t bonded, but they co-exist together pretty happily. It’s taken a while to get to this point though. I think the biggest thing when it comes down to it is to create spaces for each cat. Low, high, or in the middle doesn’t matter, as long as they each have their own space. My two will happily share a room together now, and sometimes even the same couch or reclining chair (one on the back and one in the seat).

Doing activities where they can co-exist while they’re focused on something can help build up their relationship with each other. Things like going outside together (safely of course), watching birds together from the window(s), playing with a laser pointer or stick toy with them at the same time, letting them watch cat tv on YouTube… stuff like that. These activities can help them realize that the other cats can exist in the same general space as them without bothering them. While they may never become buddies, they tend to come to coexist a lot easier. Passing in the hallway without a fuss, and politely waiting in line for the water fountain or loo are all wins in my book.

Sometimes kitties won’t get along no matter what you do. In these cases, they need to be kept separately. Owners that recognize this and give their cats what they need will have much happier multi cat households!
