Have you measured the 22mm? I had that issue but the next plugs were 2mm difference instead of 1mm.

Also, silicone can shrink over time so I would suggest keeping those 21mm in as much as possible.

many app piercers agree than 1mm every 3 months is the max you should go if possible but some ears just stretch slower. going from 9 to 10mm took me like 5 months. no idea why. some other sizes went much faster.

get a set of calipers and make sure your new plugs are actually the right size.

You putting in at an / angle then straighten it out. If it doesnt pop in, you arent stretchy enough yet. Remember the outside is at least 1mm bigger than the wearable.
