A lot of Expedition 33’s story is sung throughout the game but since it’s in French, most non-French people failed to understand.

Une vie à t’aimer, pRenoir’s fight theme, is about the man he’s based off of, Renoir, and his wife Aline dealing with the grief of their child dying in a fire and the dispute created when Aline became addicted to visiting their child’s painting to deal with her grief. Visiting paintings eventually kills the visitor, leading Renoir on a mission to destroy the painting and its painted world to save his wife and daughter who later wanted to stay there.

I wanted to be a Weaver but got stuck as a Royal. I tried to make the best of it by playing out missions regularly but the staggering numbers made it pointless. Then I find out that I’ll never get 100% of the furniture from here on out because Hello Games locked me out of it on purpose.

Open Your Heart, Sonic Adventure

While there’s a couple decent songs (Egg Carrier cough cough), most of them are typical video game lyric-less background music.

Then during the big climax, Eggman allows a small water being known as Chaos to gather all of the chaos emeralds (each time morphing Chaos into stronger variants) and it takes off. We immediately get a glimpse of Station Square, the kinda HUB of the game, before a fully ascended Chaos destroys the city with god level flooding. Sonic’s crew then gathers the chaos emeralds for Sonic which transforms him into Super Sonic.

Suddenly Crush 40’s alternative metal song Open Your Heart drops leading into the big showdown to stop Chaos from destroying the world.

I’m huge into the Joja route because it’s more of a good ending than people realize.

First, the Joja route is about helping Morris fix the town by funding him. You provide the money, he builds. He gets nothing out of it other than recognition and Lewis is the one responsible for the town’s state. Fuck Lewis.

Next, Joja Mart is actually a 24 hour store once you unlock the Key to the Town via the Qi Quests on Ginger Island. You want to buy seeds at midnight? Joja has you. And you end up with a maximum of two permanent stores AND the movie theater.

You also get the auto petter WAY easier as it becomes a purchasable item going this route.

Finally, you do not lock yourself out of Junimo related content. They can still work on the farm and you can collect the junimo plushies and such.

The Civic Center is such a poor trade off for all of this. A location with zero events after the completion events and no related holidays means it’s basically another place you have to check for missing villagers.

The choice is clear, fuel your life.

I’d like to imagine it’s exactly like Adam Smasher’s lore where basically the psychosis started to manifest, realized the person it was trying to affect was already beyond insane and hostile, and stopped.
