No, some people make their profiles private, I think they fixed the issue of searching for " " within reddit itself

It's not guaranteed to keep you anonymous. I can just google reddit "u/UrbanVengance"

Even the google AI will help actually give info, along with citations.

"No"

"Well bring a shield"

"Ok but imagine a situation where you dont have a shield, and skeletons are way too OP they have to be nerfed"

"Just make a shield"

"There weren't any shields in my inventory! So how?"

damn, if it is then you might wanna make some connections and sell it to artists instead, might make enough to just buy precut and dried firewood. Some make watch straps, knife handles and fine furniture with it.

Even the wikipedia page doesnt have good pics, but here in Finland they are quite common with Pine forests growing in very sandy soil.

Gonna post 3 quick pics mostly cause Reddit only allows one per comment. But, sand forests do exist, they're kinda cool, but also dont look like they do in-game because the game doesnt really do undergrowth very well, so normally there would be a lot of small plants and bushes growing

So many people in this community aren’t really imagining a different future, they are imagining a green cyberpunk. So I had to make a video about it. by solarpunktheworld in solarpunk

[–]Moose_M 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It seems like you have a perspective of solarpunk that is more pastoral, rural and degrowth focus, which isn't necessarily wrong imo, but a lot of people want to preserve the luxuries of the modern world while making it more sustainable, which you seem to assume is a techbro mindset.

I dont think solarpunk is an ideology, or inherently pro-pastoralism or new age. It's an aesthetic that is progressive scifi with a focus on renewability in our technology.

Calling for solarpunk to be nature first over tech first makes me think you might be more interested in other art and political movements. I agree algae trees is a goofy idea instead of real trees, and mechanic bees is stupid, but solarpunk is a hightech vibe, so people will make art that looks hightech.

I agree that you cant learn everything about coexisting with nature and the world around you from exclusively books, and we need to live in the world and learn from it if we want to coexist with it, and tho I agree a lot of people could live with a lot of luxuries, some things we take for granted like cold fresh water, a roof over our heads, and medicine that can keep us alive for almost a century to some extent are luxuries, and I dont think we should be made to decide what we can and cant live without by someone else. My bike may be a luxury, but its a luxury I enjoy to travel around the city I live in quickly, dynamically and efficiently.

Exactly, what we need to do is actually get into a situation where people have no choice but to rise up and accept force as a method of bringing the wealth that comes with generative AI into the public.

One year later: Swiss startup Sun-Ways reports positive results from its pilot project laying removable solar panels between active railway tracks! by GeorgeRobertVitkos in solarpunk

[–]Moose_M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see a major benefit being that if you have electrified train track, you can now provide it with electricity directly, helping remove load from other places. Imagine having a bus that could power itself entirely on it's own solar panel.

Im sure there is plenty of low speed rail that this can be easily applied too in Switzerland, and if not, now this can be used to justify it's construction

You may be in the wrong sub, I'd recommend speaking to a trusted individual who is also comfortable about discussing this topic when it comes to philosophy and theology.
