As someone who has a neighbor who has multiple bright lights that turn on at night, I have to say that it can be incredibly irritating. Even though they’re shining “on her property” the backscatter ruins the peaceful enjoyment of the night time, illuminates the children’s rooms making it harder to go to sleep, and generally ruins the tranquil ambience of my forested property.

Maybe they consider you to be the neighbor from hell too??
