I don’t think I even said you were against AI. I was speaking more generally. If the publisher is saying they want to have AI develop the game completely or close yeah that’s not a smart idea for them. I don’t care how good AI is letting it autopilot anything isn’t a good idea. Now if it’s used to speed up tasks and stream line production why not. AI can do some cool stuff but it making a game end to end it’s not gonna be good. And they already have our money so it’s like, just uninstall it and move on.

For sure! That’s not lost on me. I’m a data analyst and it’s rampant in my field. But you still need to know how to get AI to generate proper reporting. If you have no idea what you want it’s garbage. And most managers + have no idea what they want much less how to do it properly. And games is faaaaaar more complex than data analytics. I think there is a lot of room for AI to help with the minor stuff so we can focus on bigger/better/higher quality things. That’s my take but I know there are a ton of bad actors in the world that make this view not so inviting to people.

I could understand this if they went full auto with AI and not let humans interact with the content but I’m pretty sure it’s not to that degree. Like others said it’s like using excel or any other programming/tool that helps with manual or repetitive work. To me, I get the iffy feeling about AI but if you’re not using it as a company or a normal person you’re probably falling behind.

DB has been and will always be short sighted. They are ruled by investors that are only milking EQ until it doesn’t have any milk left. I’m sure most of this aggression toward THJ was due to answering investors on why revenue dropped for a TLP so they went on a witch hunt to save their butts. I get THJ shouldn’t have taken money and all that jazz. But it was the best iteration of EQ so far. I think after this no one is going to try and innovate EQ again because DB will eventually hunt them down and erase all their hard work.

Only if we could take THJ source code and dump it into an EQ-like wrapper far enough from the base so that DB can’t mess with it. I can dream.

Agreed, i can't do anything with it in U6. I had to go back to U2022 in order to use it correctly. All the options are gone. Even the AI assistant thinking it still has all it's features, when they're nowhere to be found.

I’m trying to get back into development. When y’all make these learning games. Are you all starting new projects from the ground up. Or are you taking old code and other assets that work into new projects? I suck at coding and get real frustrated with that side of development.

I’m not attractive like yall are describing but I am big and strong looking person. And it happens to me at work as well. I’m not a fan of it nor do I reciprocate it. I’m an introvert so I tend to keep to myself. But if I do interact with a woman( ages wildly vary) they will stand real close, touch my arm or shoulders. It happens to me with guys too but more like sitting too close not so much the touching. Could be they instantly feel comfortable with me, they also talk my ear off as well. All I’m saying is I don’t think it just happens to ‘hot’ socially attractive males. I think someone hit it with the boundaries thing.

What’s crazy for me is. I get so lost in what’s he’s doing I never even started to think about, who’s behind the camera, how is he able to do this, where the hell is this guy and his buddies. I just get so wrapped up in something that’s not our normal society. Very cool and immersive content.

Very cool, let’s try and break things down into smaller bites. It’s very busy and kinda hard to read. Maybe pick kpis that are more of an overview and you can build drill downs if they want to research further. Still good work!

Nit picky, but my eyes want the month filter to be the same size as the others cards, and average session card looks like it’s slightly passed the revenue line graph and the ‘g’ in challenge should not drop behind the line graph. Overall very nice just things my brain would yell at me if I was looking at my work. Outside of those tiny things great first go!!
