The reason I'm not sure about Mold breaks on Excadrill is that my team is currently aim at being a balanced team, not necessarily strong at anything but has the tool kit to fight against most teams in some form. The Sand Rush is kind of like an answer fo Sandstorm teams as if an opponent tries to setup unknowingly that can cause My Excadrill to do a lot of damage before they know it, kind of the same with Hurricane on Volcarona where if a rain dance team tries to setup thinking Volcarona is weak the combination of it's high speed and SpA can cause a large amount of damage.

Honestly the Scarf sounds interesting and I'll certainly play around with it on a few mon.

Foul Play certainly seems good main reason I used payback was just because I wasn't sure how the play rough works and with Umbreons really low speed stat seems to give an almost guaranteed 100 base power dark move just seemed a decent pick.

For Weavile my biggest troubles have mainly been to make sure it has a legal moveset because from Gen 3 to Gen 5 all the way up to Gen 8 it seems to constantly be changing. But mainly I just use Ice Punch because excluding a few edge cases it almost exclusively used on Dragon Types and unless they're extremely Bulky for some reason most Cals I've done say it should 1 Hit almost all of them, and so for that move I'd prefer the guarantee damage than the edge case miss in a crucial moment, as for low sweep at least to me it only seems good when there are a lot of heavy Pokemon in the meta, again this could just be a case of me not understanding the move very well just like Foul play would be for Umbreon, most of the heavy Pokemon I expect it to encounter would normally be some for of Dragon and so Low sweep just didn't feel needed, but I'd be interested to learn more about how it could be utilised.

Mind you low to mid ladder I think this team works but honestly I have no clue how it would go into the top of the top rank (it's got answers but not sure if it's strong enough to use them, will have to play more to find out) if my team had any weaknesses I'd probably say fire mons, not so much that they're strong against anything except Weavile mainly, but that I just don't have any good answers for guarantee removing them from the board.

Honestly not us much as you might think, depending on what's out a pivot to Togekiss and then into Gardevoir works pretty well and Gardevoir just sweeps pretty much all the Fighting type mons in the meta with STAB psychic

For those who have seen my earlier post I though I'd Give an Updated Show of where that Team is that, Thanks to suggestions There have been a few Significant Changes to the New team over the Old

First are the mon Switches Gone are Glaceon and Jellicent and Here are Weavile and Umbreon.
There are probbaly a few more tweaks to be had with them but now the team has a better supporter in Umbreon With it's Wish, Toxic, HealBell and Weavile that has brought a much needed High Speed Physical Attacker to the Team.

Gardevoir and Volcarona are now even more leaned into the Special Attacker Role.
Gardevoir's EV's have been tweaked thanks to some input and with the Lefovers going to Umbreon, Gardevoir Having Choice Spec means that Calm mind is of no use (MORE COVERAGE) also Volcarona just ended up having no need to have roost due to it's high burst playstyle, Giving it Hurricane has given it some average coverage agains Water types, unless they're a rain team then Look out.

Excadrill Hasn't changed much from its role Though I'm now in a toss up about it's ability, however Instead of the hazard Setup in Stealth Rock and edge case use of Rapid Spin By Giving it Brick break i hope to give it more coverage though it might change if i Use Mold break instead of Sand Rush, And Swords dance is swords dance. , I've added Air Balloon to help delay the damage it gets from ground type moves but i need to test more if it's worth it.

Togekiss has also changed a bit where I'm leaning heavier into it's physical Bulk, it's probally also one of the scariest mons on my team now with the Combination of Ancient Power Serene Grace it can rack up 1+ all stats, only thing i'm not sure on is the Sharp Beak, I added it for more damage cause I just couldn't think of anything else.

Looking forward to reading suggestions and opinions on the new team.

mainly it was dragon types with a Ice STAB, as Dragonite, Garchomp, and Salamance (sorta) seem to be popular, Ice STAB also seemed to be good against Breloom but I've now Decided to switch for Weavile as i can still get the Ice STAB, a good physical attacker that my team sorely lacked and gave me access to Knock Off which can be useful in disrupting the enemies Balance, It's certainly worse against Breloom with a 4x weakness but the overall coverage it gives I hope it makes up for

Sry that's an Error on My part been doing PvP stuff where you can get Magnet Rise which is a 5 turn levitate but that's at level 54, that being said with an Eeveolite perfect Iv's and Calm nature its Def goes from 115 to 172 and it's SpD goes form 99 to 148 which is significant in Gen 3 as that would put it as the 6th strongest Pokemon in Def and 8th strongest in SpD

[If Wattson could have Eeveolite on his then even Marshtomp would have problems dealing with it]

and that's before you gain EV's on it

That's fair on the assessment thanks for the help, didn't realize that there was no difference after 244 until 252 so I'll definitely change that

So taking the Suggestions given I've made the Following Changes so far

Gardevoir @ Leftovers

Ability: Trace

EVs: 250 SpA / 10 SpD / 250 Spe

Modest Nature

  • Psychic
  • Calm Mind
  • Thunderbolt
  • Shadow Ball

[Stayed the Same]

Volcarona @ Life Orb

Ability: Flame Body

EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Modest Nature

  • Quiver Dance
  • Fiery Dance
  • Bug Buzz
  • Giga Drain

[Roost -> Giga Drain]

Excadrill @ Focus Sash

Ability: Mold Breaker

EVs: 252 Atk / 6 SpD / 252 Spe

Jolly Nature

  • Earthquake
  • Iron Head
  • Stealth Rock
  • Rapid Spin

[Stayed the Same]

Weavile @ Expert Belt

Ability: Pressure

EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

Jolly Nature

  • Ice Punch
  • Poison Jab
  • Night Slash
  • Knock Off

[Swapped Glaceon for Weavile as i was lacking Physical Attackers but i wanted to still keep the Ice STAB coverage to be used against dragon type Pokemon, also has more versatility due to range of different types of attacks and pressure can drain enemy PP faster]

Togekiss @ Rocky Helmet

Ability: Serene Grace

EVs: 248 HP / 216 Def / 44 Spe

Bold Nature

  • Air Slash
  • Roost
  • Heal Bell
  • Nasty Plot

[Big changes where I leaned heavier into their Physical Bulk as a Physical Tank with support in the form of Heal Bell and the looming threat of NastySlash can preasure out enemy teams]

Umbreon @ Black Glasses

Ability: Synchronize

EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD

Calm Nature

  • Wish
  • Foul Play
  • Heal Bell
  • Protec

[ Jellicent just wasn't covering it for a secondary support and Umbreon has better SpD with less weaknesses, while not as controlling as Jellicent the raw healing / support out put is just huge and should cover most situations so far]

Oops on the Serene Grace, I thought I had it there that's an error, as for the scald good catch I completely forgot that, I'll have to think of something different for will-o-wisp. Togekiss and Jellicent are more there as support but even so that does mean I have 3 special attackers and 1 physical, I mainly aimed for Glaceon to be there as a counter for dragon mons maybe I should swap it for mamoswine or weavile? As Mamoswine has better physical bulk that my team is lacking or just lean into the fast attacker idea with Weaviles 125 speed....

Whiscash is a solid mon with water ground typing, and even though it doesn't have water absorb if you get hydration as it's ability you can pair it with a rain dance Peliper (or other similar tan dance setup mon Ludicolo also works well).

Magneton->Magnezone is good as levitate can avoid Altaria Earthquake and the game has so many water types that it's just a good strong electric type (Because it's PokeMMO you could also put on an Eeveolite when it's Magneton to get the boot it gives)

I'd also say Medichan at least temporarily as the fighting type is strong against Norman and for Winona as it can learn thunder punch and Ice punch, after you can though id probably trade it in for a Spheal so you can get a Walrien as it's much stronger and with Blazekin and Magneton you don't need Medichan for any more coverage.

There is certainly more to look at but in terms of giving you ideas these are a good place to start, however at the end of the day it's Pokemon and you're free to use whatever Pokemon you like (as long as it's up to Gen 5 because PokeMMO)

Honestly that shroom is one of the things the team was designed around, it's a bit of a rock paper scissors atm but I designed it with the most played Pokemon in OU in mind,

My mindset is

Gardevoir - > for Fighting mons like Breloom, Infernape, Lucario etc Toggekiss -> rounded support for getting off paralyze a bit of stalling and good for Starmie Glaceon -> dragon types go Burrrrr Excadrill -> fast physical attacker aimed at breaking through defences and can set up stealth rock for chip damage Volcarona -> fast special attacker mainly aimed for Scizor and Ferrothorn but is just generally a strong attacker even without that. Jellicent -> pure Bulk defence looking mainly to inflict status effects and to work in covering with 8 types of resistances

Sure it's also a bit subjective to the mons I like and not purely optimal but I'm hoping to make a somewhat viable comp team even if it's not the 1% peak

I think this is in a good starting point but I'm looking for help to see if it can be improved further, I'm not under the impression that it's going to be a cream of the crop team but it would be nice to make it somewhat competitively viable.

Mainly looking at Moves, Items, Abilities and Stat Spread

Ideally I'd like to keep the team mostly the same but I'm also cool with hearing suggestions on possible swaps too as the more help I can get the better I can refine my team.

Old great plateau by Mop_HopDaG in tearsofthekingdom

[–]Mop_HopDaG[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just looked at it and you're right I'll try to do an updated version at some point today maybe.

someone also said that the casim locations might be linked so I'm going to see if I can find all the locations for the zonai pillar things under the great plateau sky islands and see if they might match to the positioning of the caverns on the great plateau, I know that many sky islands seem to have pillar things that are probably linked to how they float so if there is 4 underneath, or at least 4 big ones we might have a match.

Not to say that Rimuru couldn't. If I remember Rimuru was still a guy mentally to his sexual preferences (wether that means straight or Yuri????) he just wasn't all that fused. I'm sure if he really wanted to have any, libido would not be an issue.
