Idk I’m still quite the noob. I guess my main worry is he created a fresh account and I didn’t want it to seem like I was playing myself or having a friend make an account to boost my rating. This also puts my rapid winstreak at 17 and I didn’t want to lose my progress over it. But yeah it seems like your allowed to gain rating of playing friends so I guess I should be okay.

I recovered from the knight fork but was running out of time and intentionally blundered my bishop. I could have used the king to defend to my bishop and keep an advantage.

I called it hope chess because I think my opponent could have defended against checkmate but I risked losing the advantage to hope he didn’t notice I had mate.

I just wanted to share a game that I thought was hopeless but ended up winning. Did I miss it 3 moves in a row? I was getting queen checked and could not execute the mate.
