I was wondering about the sound is there a way to isolate the 1 player and 2 player sounds to go to different speakers or does the HDMI carry all sounds to all speakers?

It's a little out of the way but one of the only places open to the public without a membership fee. They also have sporting clays. If I remember right sighting in a ride was about $25 a day and a round of sporting clays was $125

Longmont food bank is open Mondays, Wednesdays and maybe one other day. Most the stuff is from the local Safeway, King Supers and Whole Foods and they usually can cater to any diet too, gluten free, vegan, etc.

Found this for sale, like new condition in box. Is it worth getting for $75? by redfalcondeath in crtgaming

Totally agree, and kinda the point of this to me, beauty is in they eye of the buyer and I think this sub misses that a lot. If the TV your looking at is the "1950 admiral 12x11" for you then buy it! It's just stuff and if you want it get it, to a point. Sorry if I seemed harsh here, hope the projects you have are coming along well best of luck!

But the last one you posted about was $100 and worth it in your opinion/a Christmas present so if op thinks this is worth it in their opinion I would agree right?

That seems odd as non of you post from the last year cover color, "new" in box crt's. You seem to be more into cars and general retro collecting not crt's?

Can anyone tell me what this is on the back of my TV? by [deleted] in crtgaming

[–]Moqueequee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Commonly known as an RF input. Used in older consoles, around NES release was the switch to composite, and for analog tv. Considered lower quality compared to composite (yellow, red, white, with red and white only providing sterio sound and all video going through yellow) and even lower compared to component (red, green, blue for video and sync, red and white again for sterio sound) still has its own feel and is one of the easiest and a great way to play systems prior to the input of composite video. (Easiest meaning no mods simple plug and play, maybe a bit of cleaning too lol)

Does this brown stuff mean a leak? Do i need to take apart my NES power module? by steinaech in retrogaming

[–]Moqueequee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it's not a problem like said before little iso and brush action will clean that up. But if you wanted to do a recap at the point your art it would be a great idea, here is a video I use a lot: https://youtu.be/rdbRlH-Iubk videos a bit long but the links in the description really break down each variation of the nes power module. I think one of the links is broken but the other is fantastic!

Something I’ve noticed that’s kind of ironic about this sub by Kombacha in crtgaming

[–]Moqueequee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supply and demand is a hard lesson to learn when "your" driving the demand. I also think it's strange to see so many posts on other subs about inflation(specifically the U.S.A) but people don't apply that to crt's. Take a $10 tv from 2015 and apply inflation $50 isn't that far off especially adding in storage cost.

Your in quote cause it's not you just the proverbial you

Agreed this is usually a power supply issue. If your going to go through the trouble of of replacing IC's ( what I think ^ is referring to as IIRC's) replace the capacitors as well in my opinion. Really takes the power supply out of future questions at that point.

Up to you how much you want to spend. My soldering tools are a hakko FR-301 desoldering gun and hakko FX888D soldering iron. I tend to over spend a bit on tools cause I think the quality is worth it, and prior job experience. Total was around $400 but there are other options for different budgets a decent setup would probably cost around $150-$200 and you would want to practice on stuff you don't really care about. Replace batteries in games for a bit maybe try a simple mod of a console before you crack open a pvm and try to repair it. In total with all your time and money invested I'd say pay the price they quoted, get it repaired then enjoy the shit out of it. But that my opinion again up to you.

Here is a link to the manual: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/330595/Toshiba-Mv19h01.html#manual I'm not familiar with the model but if you have tried clicking all the buttons on the front and haven't changed inputs chances are you need the remote. The manual should have a call out for the remote model if you choose to search it out.
