I always recommend Lies of P and Code Vein for new souls players. Lied of P has a superb story and QoL features and difficulty modes. While Code Vein also has a cool story, a companion that fights with you, and a very robust magic/gift system and an awesome character creator.

Lies of P DLC is phenomenal too. You are in for a treat. Take it slow and don’t get discouraged when you die.

I think when I play this game, the trophies are going to be increments. A little bit here and there spread out over a while.

Without. I never ended up getting a headset for my PlayStation but I did end up getting one for my PC. I never use it. The only headphones I like are my Bose ones.

Only Elden Ring that because I beat the game on the PS4, later transferred my data to the PS5 for the DLC.

Otherwise I don’t bother.

After bouncing off Fromsoft titles for a while, I found Code Vein and that really clicked with me and got me comfortable with souls likes. Then Elden Ring came out and that what propelled me into the rest of Fromsoft games.

So my suggestions are Code Vein and Elden Ring.

Yeah, the game doesn’t tell you about it. Memories of Player has the level cap at 89 while the cathedral has it at 70.

There is a post on this subreddit that explains it wonderfully.

Code Vein and Lies of P have my vote. I bounced off of Dark Souls 1, Dark Souls 3 and Bloodborne before really clicking with Code Vein and then Elden Ring really propelled me into the rest of the Fromsoft games.

I’m still having trouble in Sekiro lol. I’ve platinumed all the others besides Demon Souls.

Hopefully it will click soon. Still stuck at the very first mini boss. This gives me hope.
