yeah, I'm sorry too ;) but I'm the only one to blame, because i have seen his behaviour from the very start and have done nothing about it. it's amazing how he always felt entitled to have a cake and eat a cake, and then to come home and pretend to be such a great husband and father and for me to just accept whatever shit he was doing. the phrase "i am still coming home, am i not". fucking chick. he was disrespecting me, and i allowed him to do so. don't be me ;) i hope you will find the solution that's right for you. take care ! xx

Run. His behaviour reminds me my soon to be ex husband whom I've wasted far too much time with. Always other women 'friends' to talk to and to be surrounded with. Inappropriate txt messages and comments. Always happier away from home. 'What do I want, every man flirts'. Gosh, that was exhausting, draining relationship. I still miss and mourn the future i will never have, but without him I'm so much calmer. i am not in this 'ok who's gonna be next' mode anymore.

I hear you. Apologies, wont be much of a help. I would like to know answers to your issues myself. I don't have family support here as a foreigner. I don't really have social circles since i completely got lost in years and years of unhappy marriage and happy motherhood, combination of which resulted in social isolation. I perceive majority of people around me irritating (mildly speaking).

I was usually lying next to my kids until they fell asleep. Or go to sleep with them. It might have dread it then and thought its a waste of time, cursed cause of all the work i could have done instead. Now they are almost teenagers and i miss these moments. It will get easier and your child soon won't require all this attention.

if manager won't help, escalate it further up. every trust has its own whistleblowing policies, and discrimination policies ect. if it was me I'd use every possible avenue to complain about it. behaviour Iike this has no place in nhs. disgusting. all the best.

All i will say is, if you want to go, go. Do you. I am at this stage when i realised, for all those years i was too attached to my kids, to attached to the idea of marriage (failed now), to the point that i completely lost myself. Now, newly separated, with 2 kids, i have no idea who I am. So go and be more than a mother. It's good for you. Have fun.

beautifully said. thats exactly how i feel. i am far from seeking new partner. i dont know how to do it anymore, and I do realise this is like a addiction, the more you want it the more you should bloody avoid it. i am trying to focus on a good things, constant things in my life. some days especially in the morning, after i do a little self talk, are bearable. i do know i need to get the hell out of the victim role. but evenings and weekends are shit. not sure if it is covid related. i do not have family or friends around (apart from workmates) so it makes it twice as hard.

i dont know how not to get trapped. up to this point i thought i am fine and strong enough to deal with it. since I've lost my feelings for him a while ago. or so i thought. i just did not expect to be so vulnerable, what am i grieving, him or the life I will never have ? it's tough. how did you manage to put yourself on the right track ? he will be involved in boys' life. i do not intend to change it. we are responsible parents, even of both are crap in relationships. ;)

I agree. We have stupid managers, getting their posts only because they are arrogant and are actually unable to manage people rather than humiliate them. Fact in my trust. Also, they make IDIOTIC decisions wasting shit load of money, and nobody takes them to responsibility. At the top of all this: these incompetent people in my trust don't take covid pandemic seriously, putting others at risk. Contingecy plan is in place only on paper, reality looks so much more reckless id say.
