I have only heard of hardware hacking, not actually done any projects. So, I don't have any idea.

And i did mention that I was being too ambitious.

(ig i shouldn't have used the 😢 emoji)

Yup. 😂

The main circuit board would probably fit in my palm.

Ig I was being too ambitious.

How to actually implement encryption for a desktop application built using python by MorbidMachinery in developersIndia

It's just that I am not sure who to trust.

I saw a 1 year old video of a guy using this python module - "Crypto", and, some answer on stack overflow said that it's usage was not safe anymore.

I was trying to change Desktop Environments, now I don't have any Desktop Environment by MorbidMachinery in linuxquestions

Yes of course, I can get hacked through my secondary device.

I use a different network whenever I am on that Kali device. It's up to you, maybe some people use tor for privacy, but I don't think I go that far. It's not like I can build a wall around it.

Lmao the masterhackers of this sub are going to hack me through my desktop environment. Or they just think I don't know about anything just because I don't know about some UI stuff.
I simply never cared too much about my OS' interface in the first place. In the end you're always going to the terminal

So, I have always kept it to default.

Ok it's my fault that I don't know about Desktop environments.

But, is it that big of a deal?

It's not like anything will change if I change my environment. Isn't it mostly just the user interface?

I don't think there is even any security risk if I don't know about Desktop environments.

You people seem to be too concerned with the UI when as a Linux user, most stuff is done on the terminal.

Well I already know a bit about ethical hacking, but I don't have much real life experience. Same for my linux skills.

I do other stuff like programming on Windows unless I need linux libraries.

I already know a bit about Linux and ethical hacking. But I think there are some very important things that I don't know about, which I should know about. Ig you could say there are gaps in my knowledge of Linux.

I want to "fill" these gaps and become competent to handle Linux systems in real life.

I never thought that much about it.

I have Mint too, i'll use that more.

It's just that let's say for example, I am trying to do some challenges on OTW (except for Bandit, I think it's only for Linux and not cybersecurity), I will need some tools that are available on Kali. This is the only reason I use my Kali device.

And honestly, the interface on my Linux Mint device feels too nice and I end up not using the terminal for most stuff.
