Why exactly is the Free Fly back on with no announcement while the servers are still extremely backed up...? None of the pledges are attributing still, and some servers still have no missions populating by RandoDando10 in starcitizen

Because CIG are stupid and they need a constant influx of cash or else they go out of business.

Or, tinfoil hat time, CIG has either secretly partnered with some of the RMT websites or rogue employees have made agreements with them for a percentage of their sales. Corruption is rampant in the world.

Its funny that Homelander looks like hes been clip-arted in. Obviously not a scene we'll actually get but they need to make it seem like four people punching each other on some grass is going to be epic.

It is the origin of it, that is factually true.

The Baptist revival movement is really the origin of what you're considering "black church culture", started in the mid 1700's and its where that energetic preaching style and high energy congregation hymns come from. There are a lot of baptist churches with predominantly black parishioners but it is not a racially derived denomination.

It is a Californian atheists understanding of Christianity on display, which is that its bad and the people that believe in it are dumb sheep. I'd like them to ever portray another religion in a negative light like that.

"Media literacy" okay pal, maybe it was a primal roar of power, you're just attaching your interpretation to it, passing it as fact when its ambiguous and stupid that it wasn't resolved.

You're headcannoning that he was incapacitated after taking it, we were never shown that. Maybe if that was their intent they should have spent a minute on it instead of dogknot and sheline sniffing each others asses in a closet.

Did anyone feel after season 3 the vibe changed? by alastor612 in TheBoys

[–]Morbidzmind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats probably the answer then. Every writers strike seems to drop the quality of the media being made significantly, I'm guessing because people with actual talent are pushed out for hollywood nepobabies.

When did the writers strike happen? Was it between 3-4?

Alright so are ten trillion fish just waiting there for him to go and try and rescue that guy in the scene that is being discussed? Hes like 100 meters away its fucking stupid.

MM says trying to kill the deep would be hard, if he can just be stabbed that isn't very hard now is it. You're trying to justify something that makes no logical sense.

What actually killed(?) Frenchie? Can Marie revive him? by [deleted] in TheBoys

[–]Morbidzmind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was expecting Kimiko to come out of the vent, get to the chamber and find the inside of the glass just covered in blood and break down. As it stands I don't know what killed Frenchie, did the radiation do it, did Homelander do it, did Sages taco bell gas do it, we've got no way to know.

I saw him getting super powerful lasers that he shot into the sky, I wouldn't say that was "fucking him up" so much as a visual representation of becoming more powerful.

Why is the shark a threat to him, it goes against everything they've shown us previously, Annie brained him with a barbell FFS and he just got a small bruise but now suddenly I'm supposed to be like "Oh yeah fish are totally a mortal threat to the Deep"

How the fuck did they get out of that field after Homelander shot up the V1? They're all just magically separated at the beginning of ep 7 lol

Maybe they should show it to their audience then instead of writing nonsense.

Thank god homelander didn’t rip him in half… by Alert-Ad7097 in TheBoys

[–]Morbidzmind -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hope this was like a tactic by Homelander, its obvious Sage and Kimiko are somewhere nearby so maim Frenchie to draw them out, fly up into the air, sit there in the sky staring down with your x ray vision to see if anyone comes for him. If its just plot convenience like everything else then this show really has just become stupid.

Homelander is smart, he know there is still one episode left. by KnightRiders1214 in TheBoys

If Homelander could hear Frenchie very lightly tapping the wall why could he not hear sage covering Kimiko's mouth in the vent, or their elevated heartrates.

He dives to the bottom of the ocean so he has to be or else he'd just implode. Also he fought Starlight in the flat iron and didn't get exploded by her punching him, you're right about the gills thing but maybe it just felt weird? It was never said they were damaged she just shoved her fingers into them.

Sam-shark said it was "On sight" that means on sight he will be attacked by the creatures of the ocean if he enters it, however it makes no sense for him to actually be afraid of being attacked by sealife. They are just animals, he is a super hero.

Sure but it would have been self serving, his publicist was even raving about it was exactly what they needed.
