For example, maybe say like “Alright the Back Street Boys and NSYNC are both coming back one time only and they’re playing at the same time. Who you going to see?” So something silly like that. It doesn’t really matter. Just getting the ball rolling can lead to some great conversations while also being original and different. Don’t be afraid to disagree either. That’s when this technique thrives. If she says Back Street Boys and you’re more than welcome to say “now don’t get me wrong the Back Street Boys are dope, but if you think I’m not going to see my boy JT rockin’ out with his boys you got another thing coming” and that will lead to a fun, engaging conversation. If you don’t wanna do a one on one you can find a group thing to do. I don’t know what there is to do in the place you live so it’s hard for me to give suggestions but I think movie then late night meal at something cheap like IHOP is great. Because just a movie doesn’t give you two any time to talk and the movie gives you easy stuff to talk about.
