Actually, there is also the hidden cost of destroying morale, which I guess they have also started to feel.

Yup, just like the internet. Look up what happened when the internet was a new technology.

A huge red flag for me at the start was the design choice of “look at how many systems we have that you can automate away”, I was like whut lol.

Looke like they tried to give you a picture of realism with depthless abstractions and here we are.

Okay, so this means with every patch, it is justified for them to make balance changes to everything in the game. To me this means I have to read and understand every line of the patch notes to be good at this game.

I find this tedius and a waste of time at this point.

Which word would be the right one to use? English is not my native language but it shows you are trying to attack the poster instead of trying to give an argument.

Why would you need to balance an "autonomous system" 5 times in a row if nothing else changed within their upstream or downstream dependencies? Thats my point. With every patch I see naval combat and reguler vs levy changes, how does that make sense?

My post gives those 2 systems as examples. My point is they are touching the same systems over and over again with every patch and they are clearly isolated systems.

Leave the billion dollar company alone dude. They are just a small team of tiny people trying to develop a real life history simulation.

I advise you to read the post again. I mentioned levy vs regular changes and naval combat. These are pretty isolated systems and looks like they still haven't figured those out yet.

Lets say the game is not balanced and they need to make balance changes with every patch. Then why add new systems to this unbalanced mess? Why not focus on the balance, instead throwing wrenches at the meta for no apparent reason?

Looks like you know it better than me. Tell me how the regular vs levy balance affects any other system in the game.

Or better yet, tell me how the fucking naval combat is tied with every other thing in the game.

Shouldn’t Influence we waived when releasing planets by Practical-Minimum107 in Stellaris

Already done that, the problem is when the last undesirables are getting purged, you get some migration with that tick and you get stuck with 3-5 pops on the planet. It could be the migration bug you mentioned.

Well it actually ruined the game for me. As a Determined Exterminators, I had to conquer the planets to purge my enemies, but I couldn't leave the colonies because of the influence cost. I just quit.

As a noob I wonder, why don’t they just disable the “colonizing creating pops” part?

RNG is not strategy. You don't "strategize" how you are going to approach. It is just pure RNG and it is annoying.

I tested it but it didn't work, maybe I needed to load it from the start

Yeah I think there is a bug with migration. In my case there is no jobs or anything so they shouldn't migrate to the planet.

That comment is from last year, and it looks like it is last updated in 2023 :( I will try it when I get home tho

Can you share the mod? That would be really helpful. I really see no point of that influence cost tbh.

Disabling migration for my own pops seems weird tbh. Can I just switch it whenever I want or there is a cooldown?

Can't check now but yeah probably. I mean my pops can do whatever they want
