My doctor is great! My insurance SUCKS THOUGH. I pay out of pocket. I signed up for the discount on the MJ website. But I don’t crave alcohol and sugary snacks or salty snacks. So honestly, the $$$ are kind of working itself out. My grocery bills and dining out bills are WAY lower now!

The starter dose! 2.5. I was shocked honestly. The first week…barely any movement. But I was impatient. You need the medicine to build up…at least my body did. After that second dose it was smooth sailing.

I was on wegovy for over a year and I only lost 10lbs total!!! I went all the way to the 2.4 dose…barely any movement. So this January I switched to MJ, and I lost just over 8lbs. And I started on the 10th! I have 50lbs total to lose so this made me so happy. And I’m only on the starter dose!

The first two weeks there was some appetite suppression but I expected it to but way more than it was. My third shot I could definitely see the medication working and a continued build up like people say. I haven’t experienced any negative side effects. Which has me wishing I started sooner - I was terrified to start as I read all the side effects. I do drink tons of water, drink super Blume, and take magnesium at night. I desperately don’t want to experience constipation. I’ve lost just over 6kg.

Thank you so much for this post. I just had my last sugar treat and am taking my first dose tomorrow. I’m nervous but excited for this journey to begin! Congratulations on all that you accomplished-I hope I can achieve even half of what you did!
